Great series. Would you mind zooming the text to make it easier for us with vision issues to see? It shouldn’t negatively impact those that don’t need it.
I really like Kate, some text editors are just text editors, and some IDEs are like real fighter jet cockpits. Kate is simple but very powerful, it's probably my favorite software.

The most part of the series is done from the browser and Jupyter notebooks; they will be zoomed in. But thanks for the heads up

I haven't used Kate for ages, but did start with it on SUSE. But so many great and free tools on both Windows and Linux
Notepad++ is the gateway to Vim, which is the gateway to Neovim. Then folks will write code just to hear their keyboard and see the text :-)
I can't believe that notepad++ is not standard on Windows. Everyone adds it
