Does anyone know why Jake has a capo on 3? I know he's playing in Drop C#, but I don't see him playing any strings open, so why the capo?

I dont think he is playing in drop c# but the reason for the capo is to make one of the chords (cant remember which off the top of my head) substantially easier to play.

kiekoes I mean sure you can play the song in drop c# but Im fairly certain that they play this in standard or possibly D# since thats what every other modern baseball song is in. Ive always played it in standard with a capo on the second.

Seriously though. I understand exactly how this guy feels.
No offense towards and women, but you guys are kinda of stupid.
You throw away the guy that tries to be the best to you,
just to try to fix a relationship that isn't going anywhere, and you know it.

Maybe they just don't have an attraction towards the guy who tries to be best for her. Maybe she IS shallow, but in that case there's a fault on the guy too, who should maybe think about the type of women he's going after. If you feel entitled to something for being nice, than you're just being nice for all the wrong reasons. You should be nice to people just to be nice to people, not just because you think it will increase your chances of being romantically involved with a person. Also love is just a weird thing. I was in a very unhealthy off and on relationship for two years. Within that two years I blew off a few girls who would have been way better to me, but I just didn't connect with them on a level that warranted a relationship. Love is more complicated than you're making it out to be. I think it's rather foolish to call women in general "stupid" just because your experiences with a very select few of women, especially when you throw "no offense" in front of there. I know you feel hurt and victimized, there was a time in my life where I felt the same way as you, but really it's nobody's fault. You didn't do anything wrong, she didn't do anything wrong, life just has its ups and downs and this was a down. They'll be ups coming your way too. Don't let certain experiences ruin your outlook.

You have a very valid point. I'm just looking at it the way most people view it when they hear it. If it is exactly how he explains it, then she is shallow. And I do agree that being nice doesn't make you entitled to anything, however, if she does act different towards him sometimes or something, or show him affection, then it's fucking low.
