Jimmy Allen was known as the Billy Graham of the Churches of Christ. He is well known for his sermon "What is Hell Like?" and for adding several extra stanzas to the hymn "Just As I Am." In this video, we see Jimmy Allen doing both. In later years, brother Allen regretted this sermon saying, "there are some things I have said about hell in the past that I can no longer repeat" (Fire In My Bones, pg. 220-221). Jimmy delivered this sermon on June 25, 1978. This is a classic sermon and one that deserves consideration!

Amen brother. This is what the world 🌎 still needs today. The plain and unadulterated gospel of Jesus the Christ.
What a great sermon. This is what we need today, a fire and brimstone preacher. I don't believe most people including Christians believe there is an actual Hell.
I heard brother Allen deliver this sermon back in the 1960s at the Wilshire church of Christ in Oklahoma City
