Thank you for this video! I feel a bit more prepared now. The tankxiety is real, haha. I've used Duty Support almost exclusively up until now and so suddenly being put into a group of 8 is really nervewracking, but you made the fight seem really simple.
The damage in the warlock trials and dungeons is very manageable so as long as you don't have someone saying screw it every single mechanic and requiring constant healing you should be fine. As a white mage the most important thing is to trust in your regens. Medica 2 and regen can get you through most aoe damage situations. Good luck and enjoy.
@@DemonSlayerGaming1 i he never really struggled to keep up healing, i have struggled to heal AND dps much before now however, and i know already that is considered bad :)
That's the wonderful thing about regens though. Put them up and they continue to heal while you dps. It will come more naturally with practice though. Especially after you see a first one or two times it's much easier to know when you have windows that there isn't much damage and can easily dps and then heal when it's needed.
I just unlocked this part in the MSQ and I have to say going from healing NPC's in dungeons to doing a full 8 man raid with real people is very intimidating 😧 Time to practice in dungeons for a bit XD. Thanks for the guide!
Thank you for this guide.. just like many comments .. I've solo everything up to this point. I want to continue with MSQ so now have to group up. I have a newbie healer question on group content... Should I only concentrate on my heals? or should I also be using my dps abilities? (Stone & Aero)
FF expects healers to mix in their dps abilities abities during down time. Sound like your playing white mage so usually you want to keep aero up on the boss, regen on the tank, and then just spam stone till you need to refresh either of those or need to use medica 2 or cure 2 depending on if the group or tank needs extra heals. Remember to use your lucid dreaming when you get down to about 75% mana and then pretty much every time it's up after that. This would be your general rotation for single boss trial fights like this. Never use cure 3 the amount it heals isn't worth the mana it cost to cast and it rarely heals very many people cause it does a heal around your target which relies on their placement where medica and medica 2 is a heal around you and you can move to where you need to so this affects the most people.
No problem. I'll eventually end up doing a tank and healer guide they just take a very long time since I want them to be well done. In the meantime if you have any other questions feel free to drop them on any of my videos.
For the A Realm Reborn ones yes. For the ones in the following expansions though the tank busters usually target the top two in threat so both tanks need their stance on.
@@swaggedoutbrah Every server is pretty active so it shouldn't matter. It may take a bit cause it's lower level content but eventually it should pull in the other to help you regardless.

It is part of the trial roulette so long as you stay in que for it then it should eventually pull people in with you
