Sorry Mom of 4 boys raising them myself. Not to knock you, but mom's shouldn't be put in a picture as being helpless, "in the castle with her hair waving out the window, etc". Boys don't need to look at their moms as a weakness, but agree that they need to respect their mom and protect her, also like their fathers. Yes, my boys wrestle until one cries that is how it is done, but I have taught them their manners and to hold the door, to have respect for their elders regardless of their sex. I like the idea of "ownership" of their chores, as I face that problem as well. Which is one thing I will bring into my household to ensure the "it's not my turn, or I didn't do it because it was so and so's job", will subside. Thanks. Maybe not make moms look like a weakness but as to be respected and listened to at all costs.
