Great video! I tie double-overhand knots for my sliding knots... very slight difference to what you are tying, but they cinch up just a little bit smaller.
If you stick your last cord down through the last loop both ends of your eternity knot will be the same. Verses one over and the other under. Don't know if that is a different style but I think it looks better.

Exemple : from all the way extended to the smallest it can be. I need instructions on how to make one that would be around 6" at the smallest but need it to be around 12" to the longest it can go. Is it possible ? Can't find any info about this anywhere !!!

I just made my first one and it was this one with the extra knot. You are just melting it not burning it. I burned mine at first, it smells when you do that but not much. I know I did it wrong though... it shouldn't burn it should melt. Don't touch the flame to it.

It's amazing how hard thi one was for me and I have had no problem with the zipper sinnet, the mandala knot, and have made dozens of harder things like the Conquistador, Genoese, etc. Wow. Thanks for the video though. It looks really sweet now that I got it down somewhat. There is a section on here that repeats. The correct instructions start to repeat at about 5 min 45 seconds. Just FYI for anybody watching.

In the Army we called it 550 cord because it can hold 550 pounds, for real. That's why they use it for parachute risers.

BRASAS Y PARRILLA 550 paracord is about half a centimetre (4-5mm) thick

550 paracord is about 5-6 mm or 1/4 inch. 95 paracord is thinner, about 2-3 mm or 1/8 inch. It's classified by how much weight it can support.

Directioner One Direction I dont know how professional you want to make it, but Walmart has some!
Directioner One Direction 550 paracord on eBay. You can get 100ft for about $6 (Australian)
Or you can simply use a shoelace but the circular ones found mainly in boots
Any shoe laces work. String too. Anything that can tye knots works.
Nice and simple. Looks like you need an extra pair of hands to tighten it.
