pretty sure in the first version that they existed they generated every 500^2 blocks to test generation (fun fact: in that version they generated with the top slightly cut off due to generating higher than they were supposed to! Not so fun fact: that version is lost)
Actually, for most of their lifespan, you could not yet break blocks and pick them up. So they were for testing structure generation rather than a source of bricks.
@@Sabertooth. complex? It’s not even that complex. Also they could just spawn in the desert. The desert is so boring. The only good thing is temples and villages.
The first one looked sick. Imagine if they changed it to that design, it would still have the hidden treasure room in it, but with a 5th chest. The pyramid would have like a mutant mummified zombie boss, and once you beat him, he drops a key to the chest.
They should! But for sure the April fool 2025 update is gonna be "real life" Minecraft, so that everything looks like the real world and stuff, because of the life action (not animated) movie they're making for Minecraft. This is my prediction though, I'll get back at ya the 1st of April 2025 to see it I was right 🤪
Idea: Minecraft should all these pyramids back, but make them out of sand stone. They should add rooms inside and lots of traps, similar to a jungle temple. It would be harder to navigate, though, and at the end there would be a mummy and lots of loot.
would be cool if they add them back and add rooms with loot and it gets harder the higher you go with the best loot being on top but you cant break in somehow maybe add a layer of an unbreakable block or a punishment for breaking in like traps or something
Brick Pyramids were just testing structure generation, they were likely not intended to be a primary source for bricks. After all, the first version they were in didn’t even have an inventory
Next update should revamp the desert temples after the chambers, this time desert temples would be big and hard to navigate, with random generating rooms and patterns
During the time brick pyramids existed, there was no way to craft bricks, which lead to brick pyramids becoming the only method of naturally obtaining them. Contrary to popular belief, this was not the intention behind the brick pyramid's existence and is almost certainly a coincidence, due to items not existing for a majority of their existence.
These things were also like 100,000 blocks away from spawn
Actually in idk which version if you walk 500 blocks forward and 500 blocks toyour left you will 100% of the times find one
Bro roblox can be fusied mine craft so

I hope they start adding mega structures like this, but not just a big shape with no space inside, I mean an actual place to explore
Like ocean monument ig
Mansions, ancient cities, trial chambers...
@@fallen_vague28 neither of these are mega structures, at least not my definition of "mega"
Best they can do is a new kind of wood, sorry

Finally someone understood
Yes. Notch was testing the mountains.
They should add them back imo
Yeah, imagine finding one out of nowhere while wandering thousands of blocks from spawn. Would be super cool
Idea: they come back as trial chamber entrances and dungeons and to locate the chambers easier
I don’t remember correctly on what version it was but it got added again but for some reason it was with sand blocks
No they shouldn't this will not match with todays minecraft complex mechanics
@@Sabertooth. complex? It’s not even that complex. Also they could just spawn in the desert. The desert is so boring. The only good thing is temples and villages.
Tbh they should add pyramids but with rooms, good chests, spawners, new mobs, and new boss

they should add these back & make them have actual rooms for some april fools update!

They should add these back as one of those cool structures that serve no purpose, but to make your adventures more cooler

so a desert temple on steroids?
@sketcher975 Lol, but the shape of a pyramid!

that one terraria world gen glitch:
lmao terraria temple bug😅
I remember those! I was so fascinated by it I climbed up and down or cut the top off and built my house there.
Brick Pyramids were just testing structure generation, they were likely not intended to be a primary source for bricks. After all, the first version they were in didn’t even have an inventory
That should replace the bricks with new unobtainable blocks
* *Knowing one day the mouse may figure out how to rebuild the pyramids in their hardcore word, it fills you with DETERMINATION.*
Bring these back with actual rooms, give us a full on desert update and everything with it.
Buying them is expensive. Bring it back
These could probably fit the newer version if they decided to change some things about it
Next update should revamp the desert temples after the chambers, this time desert temples would be big and hard to navigate, with random generating rooms and patterns
Fun Fact : desert temples were actually called "Desert Pyramids"
These thing should still be in the game but extremely rare, like 1 in every world rare
Oh❤❤❤❤❤Lol 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This actually was useful back then
I remember this, each time I found one I'd hollow it out and make it my home I thought it was cool
nah jts because cleopatra said "no man will ever find my tomb", when my sister plays she can run through all the treasure rooms at ridiculous speeds
The second picture is insane

As an egyptian it should be gold or dimanond
That is nostalgic
They should put these in pillager nests with hollowed insides for raising the baby pillages
Any 1 else remember the normal piramids ?
yeah, but they weren't "desert temples", back then there weren't even a desert.
POV: you saw three big temple's
When was this added?

Well
Minecraft 1.29
🎉❤🎉❤😂😊
How tall was it
This would literally be the perfect place for a mob farm since there’s zero chance for there to be air pockets at the top of the pyramid
That one layer from ultrakill
Weren’t these used to test if their procedural generation could also make structures?
I remember thesee days
You just forget the farlands

I Just saw the camman video about this in the previous short
Newer versions can craft brick block
And they were also not in the desert
They arent sand why would they be in the desert and correct me if im wrong but deserts werent a thing back then

Wrong. The reason is to test how big a structure can generate with/without glitches
❤😂😊
I heard of this pyramid
The version of Minecraft is:Infdev(infinite development) of Minecraft
It was meant to test structure generating in minecraft
I could have sworn i already saw this video like. Years ago
brick by brick
It’s desert pyramid
Let’s go
Create an obama pyramid 😂
Why do you. Need bricks
I tried to make that piramid
