a friend bought this cassette for me as a birthday present. fast became the one that stayed in my car's player and learned every song word by word. Never seen any live footage of them until this evening! wow.
To be able to go to a concert like this, where there's no drugs, no "Devil Horns", and no foul language, and people dressing and acting decently... This is just a little slice of Heaven! Hearing this music definitely brings back memories.
Cornerstone was one of the biggest Festivals in the USA at the time. I'm grateful to this very day my buddy RB got me there to see and experience this. I knew this was a rare thing for these guys to do, my privilege to see them perform no doubt.
Hey, thanks for posting! I was in the front row and I remember cameras for taping this show and Whiteheart who played after Mastedon. I wondered what happened to all the footage. There's a shot of me with a friend that eventually became my husband. Great memories!
This is Mastedon. John Elephante is lead singer. He was the other singer in Kansas in later years. He had his own record company Pakaderm...all this stuff plays on his last name which is close to Elephant. It was probably around before your group. It's contemporary Christian rock.
Your first show w Kansas was 1982 not 83. Back in the day when you heard about shows after they occurred. I was 100 miles away and would have been there if I’d known
Johns songs are soooo uplifting! Thank You!
i totally remember buying this album way back then and this song...Islands in the Sky is amazing, touching, ---
i will never forget those days
Dont forget😊

I saw them at Cornerstone in 91. Still one of favorite concerts. Their show was strikingly good.

Wow--memories. I was in the front row, age 14! That's my elbow and head at the bottom of the screen at 1:42. Thanks for posting!
O John Elefante deveria ser estudado. Ele já tem mais de 60 anos de idade e ainda alcança essas notas altíssimas.
Mano a voz dele é lindíssima uma das mais lindas
pq não teve tanta notoriedade? Fico sem entender

We need more music like this today. At least we have Skillet. Bless them all.
I was there♥️♥️♥️
I wish I saw them live, thier songs are to good not to see them live.Thier songs will live forever I would play thier songs with my band.
Por onde tu andas?!
I was there. I remember feeling sorry for the band Whiteheart for having to follow them. Impossible.
I don't think so - to my knowledge, these 2 songs are the only ones that have been released.
if you like this band join me to holymetal radio..
