#1. To live seeking/expecting for others approval is not living at all. Our parents belong to a different generation and the rules and ways they had when they were our age are not applicable anymore. Rules our parents applied to their life will unlikely work for us. If she feels unworthy of good in her life it would be best if she starts to think on why that is. Is she living by her own rules or by what her parents and society always try to impose? Today's life paths are not clear or certain anymore, like in the past and just because you work and sacrifice a lot, it doesn't mean you will be successful. I hope she starts to understand that it's she who must choose what she wants in life and what she wants to do. No one can live her life for her and she must take the matters by hand, instead of letting others decide by her.
