U guys keep falling for the schemes. It was all done on purpose to push the race narrative again and foster ethnic unrest. Don't fall for it. No real football fan blames Saka for the defeat. Unless a very few idiots that are racist.
Basically England are the new Argentina. Too many players lol. Gate will be calm though. Saka and Bellingham will be starting. Palmer is pretty good but has defensive issues and not that strong physically really. He can be a good sub
Palmer can’t start, his strength of the bench is key. Understand how Southgate plays. The most important is having a big intimidating midfield. Foden playing through the middle is not that. Foden doesn’t suit it in the England squad with their tactics. I personally would have Gallagher as a 6. Rice as a 8 having more freedom. Bellingham as a 10. It’s not what England fans and players want, but what the system needs. Saka defo has the ability.. Great 1 vs 1 against players, great decision maker and works hard.. Saka can definitely do a job at LB. And if he gets confident enough to overlap like Luke Shaw did.... We have a new England LB/LWB guys
He was once listed as a leftback in Arsenal academy….idk how his defending is anymore, but now that I’ve heard it, I’m kinda like the idea of heavy attack on the left w Saka and Foden lol
I won't play him at Left Back. I'll play him at Left Wingback with a back 3. He'll be amazing there. He does soooo much for Arsenal defensively and dropping deep during the buildup he's practically a right wingback for them (even tho hes a right winger on paper)
@user-ct1cj6hs8d Trent virtually played as a midfielder in the past 1.5 seasons. He was an inverted RB, meaning he was a CM on the ball and a RB off the ball. He can clearly play in midfield. These guys have no idea, and are going off the same stupid cliche that he can't defend. Did they even see Liverpool's 3-0 win vs Man City when he was 19 years old in the CL quarters and he had Sane in his pocket the whole game? He has defended well in most games, but because Liverpool play a high line and a high-risk game, sometimes defenders do get exposed. That doesn't mean he can't defend. Of course Trente can play as a two. As long as the other one is a holding midfielder.Either Rice or Wharton.Rice needs to be told to stay in his own half
