Finally got to make the declutter video and managed to get rid of 13 perfumes. Well 12 in reality but one sneaked in as a surprise. It is like Annabelle not wanting to leave me alone. Well she goes this instant! LOL!

I really enjoy declutter videos, as they help me to learn your taste so I know for your future recs. I think out of all the reviewers, you are the closest to my taste, even tho culturally we are so far apart :) I had so many fails from Paulina Shar's recs (who is from Poland like me) and quite a few gems from yours (like the Evoke Gold and Armaf Ego that not many people talk about. The Ego will always remind me of your story buying off all the JPG Fragile perfumes haha). Also, let me tell you how BEAUTIFUL your are! You have the most dreamy eyes I have ever seen. oh in case you're looking for new purchases, I would love to hear about the new Le Labo Noir 29 dupe and Another 13, also Eternal Musk (dupe for Not a Perfume by JHG). Friendly Lady Extreme Fragrance World - Lady Milion Prive dupe - Im really interested if this cheapie is any good!). AFNAN Supremacy Tapis Rouge. Aventos Her Fragrance World - is this a new clone or old? I also can't decide for the best Ombre Nomade dupe - Jean Lowe Ombre (Noir) Maison Alhambra or the new The Shadow from Khadlaj? I'm also curious of Clare Eternal (Khalis) dupe for Penhaligon.
I am so happy that our tastes are similar my hun ❤ My closest taste match with another reviewer is Mila Le Blanc although we are so very different. Thats the beauty of fragrances I feel.

@jamayaaaa I actually no longer watch Paulina for exactly this reason. Unsubscribed like 1.5yrs back. While she's a gourmand lover, like me (though I have quite a wide range of preferences when it comes to perfume. It's faster to say what I don't like, lol), I have a feeling I either can't trust her nose OR her taste - maybe both. Besides, I am also drawn towards certain personalities, with a certain way of presenting.
So, there are only 4 perfume reviewers left for me: Simin, Coco Pebz (UK/Jamaican), A Fragrant Glance (Romanian), and Cee Chronicles (South America, forget where now). Cee often has a different taste than I do, as well as a different skintype* (* my very dry skin will definitely negatively influence things like beastmode and longevity), but she's pretty good and probably has the biggest collection of Middle Eastern perfumes, especially the viral brands - as well as long & short reviews about them - of anyone on YT. Handy overviews of dupes from different makers as well. However, only Coco, Sim, and Loredana can make me want to "add to cart" in a hurry 😁. Coco is a huge fan of FromAbiWithLove, so I might watch a few of her reviews/tips as well to see if she fits my YT preferences. Who would you recommend?
Sim and Paulina might be different, but then both agree on Ansaam Gold as do I.

Right?! Ansaam is reflecting very differently on everyone for sure. Someone said they initially smelled chocolate in it. I wonder if it again a batch problem as per usual with Lattafa and Paris Corner sigh...

Hi I'm a big fan of your videos and your cheerful personality. I think this whole Emir series is inspired by Mancera and Cherry Cola is inspired by Tonka Cola. Never smelled the original but really like this version and especially the spicy cinnamon note. My new rule in declutter is that I do them every 3 months. If I find one that I'm iffy about, I'll keep it, but if I haven't used it by the next declutter, it goes bye-bye. ❤
Omg I also have a 3 months rule in the house. If we don’t use something in 3 months it’s better to declutter coz I feel it leaves bad energy. It’s a weird thought but I follow through with it 😂♥️

Woah! 41!!! That’s a whole lot of perfumes. Honestly I wish I could get rid of a few more but then I will not have a channel lol. But December will be a bigger declutter I imagine. Lots of new perfumes did not sit well with me and I don’t intend to try and make myself like them 😂♥️
Absolute love your content ❤. Would very much enjoy to hear about older purchases, which maceration process was the most surprising/rewarding and / or ( on a separate note ) what you would recommend if someone only wants two fragrances. Could be day and night, or winter and summer. For the freshy lover, the gourmand fan and so on.

I am such a hoarder and having a large house ( especially for 2 people, but we always thought there would be one or 2 more, but that's another sad story) it makes easy to keep sentimental things.
When I get rid of long covid, I will ruthlessly declutter.
I so understand that a perfume can make you feel annoyed 😅.
Gerry often laughs and is still amazed at how smells affect me and my mood.
Yesterday we went for a walk in cold sunny weather and my coat and scarf both had different perfumes than what I was wearing and it became magical. 🙃 I could not stop smelling the scent bubble and smiled like a made woman 😅.
I actually did not want to take them off inside😂.
The pink one called Alive Now, surprised me. Gerry bought it for me and especially on mild weather days I like wearing it.

I knowwww. I was so brave with the declutter lol. We are the same you and I. I am also a hoarder, but off ;late something changed in me and I just feel like getting rid of everything I dont use or use less of. The declutters make me feel good (not to mention I get money selling them to buy new ones lol).

My cough is almost gone now. It was a very severe Bronchitis due to pollution and dust during travel.

@@SiminShaikh My lovely Sim, I could not reply as I have had another shocker of a migraine, could not see much but light flashes. Not sure if this is happening as we have such glary sunlight right now with the sun being at its lowest point ( 21 st of June is the winter solstice so from then onwards the sun appears higher in the sky again making life easier). I seem to get a bad one every one to 2 weeks now and it means I cannot read and find using a computer tricky for a few days as my head hurts and eyesight is affected.
I do have very pale green eyes which means that sunlight affects me and any glare causes problems , I have been told it has to do with the light eye colour.
But I need to get my eyes checked out again as well, after 4 eye surgeries I really hope I do not need the 5th one which is not an easy one and has a high risk. It is 8 degrees Celsius here but so sunny, the sun is incredible when it is so low in the sky, we are right at the lower end of this world and I tend to forget this, next stop Antarctica 🤣😂but with the sun it means even with low temperatures no heating is required until the sun goes down. Our house is built to capture the warmth of the sun in winter and this helps. I am so sorry to read about your cough and severe Bronchitis due to pollution and dust is no good at all. I am glad it is getting better. Are you drinking plenty of water, my hun? One thing I learned that this has helped a bit with my long covid cough, but of course coughing and drinking is a tricky combination as I have learned 🤣, water everywhere but not where it should be.
I think the cold weather does not help with Long Covid but I am OK , just wish those migraines would vanish or get less. Thank you for sending me healing energy, I send blessings and healing energy to you every evening before going to sleep. I think of all my loved ones and send love, light, healing energy and blessings before I go to sleep.
Yes, those scent left overs mixing together can be pure magic. I still have not been able to identify one of the perfumes on my warmest winter coat, but getting close to eliminating the ones it cannot be 😂. The scarf has a combination of Amethyst from a cold day, and also some Berlinetta from another cool day and this with Opulent Red produced an incredible scent bubble that made me so happy.
I will tidy and declutter my perfume cupboard soon, I must as I do want 2 more perfumes at some stage later this year. I must declutter the rest of the house when I get my energy back as Gerry and I want to do some renovations.
He is much better at de cluttering than I am. I worry I miss something 😂and I feel sentimental about things so they cannot be thrown away 🤣.
Oh, Markus 🙀has had his summer hair cut, oh, I want so see that precious boy. Poor baby, he must have not been impressed 🙀😾, like Sunti when he gets a bit of a trim in his lederhosen 🤣😂 or Fledermaus Bottom 😂. Did you try Swiss Arabian Rose 01 smells like Delina but well blended dupe. I love love imperial it smells more sweet Rose mixed with whip cream.
I’ve tried Rose 01 in store but I am just done with Delina smelling perfumes. I have so many of them and it’s quite redundant to have more

Raghba Wood Intense was such a major disappointment to me 😢. I bought it based on a pyramid that was obviously incorrect. I didn't get ANY caramely sugar or any other warm, nice notes. I get...."Rotten wood! YES!" You actually just said it in the video😅. That's what I get, too. Rotten wood with something extra really sharp. I hate it. And what's worse: it's super strong! I couldn't wash it off and only used 1 spray on my arm. Not even alcohol did the job, and both my room & I smelled disgusting the whole day. From ONE spray. Sigh... I currently have 2 full shelves of decluttered fragrances. I really hope I can sell them all for decent prices and then get a few fragrances I really like.
I've learnt, though: I used to blind buy A LOT, as those shelves testify to. Nowadays I rather spend €50-€60 for 15 samples of 2ml and then discover I only like just one perfume, instead of buying what I think I like and being disappointed constantly... and poor.
I sampled Taskeen, and indeed, the peach and orange are so extremely strong it's as if I accidentally spilt a juice cocktail on myself and couldn't clean up. Yuk.
You know what's funny babe. I was so impressed with Raghba Wood Intense when I first received it, although I knew it would have been a very occasional wear. But then one day I wore it and nearly choked, That rotten weird smell was just awful. And you are right. It is sooooo strong lol (I had sprayed 3 puffs, my life 😅 lol). I agree it is better to get decants. I need to get off my lazy bum and actually visit stores before buying certain perfumes. It will save me so much money ❤
I gaged at Taskeen. It was the quickest "No" ive givent o a perfume after Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited 😂😂😂

I just got my hands on the 20ml of Ansaam gold and it was immediately a no. It gave me detergent/cleaning vibes. And that thing lasts, but I’m not getting the big bottle. I’ve layered it with Yara and I liked the combo, but I don’t think it’s worth it.
Right?! Me too! That’s the problem I have with it. That detergent scent it’s too overwhelming 😞 I tried so hard to like it but with so many options why should we try so hard right?! 😉

I avoided Min Yashbahak like the plague and have not tried many of the Maison AlHambra perfumes either.

Erba Pura dupes are the ones nobody likes in the family or among my friends, so I put them on top of the post boxes in case someone might like to take them.

I decluttered an Erba Pura dupe as well (the Al Haramain's Gold Edition). The second I got it, I knew it was a goner 🤢 and I'm on the verge of decluttering my CDN Imperial. There's a love/hate relationship with that one. Worn in tiiiiny amounts, it's not bad....but one extra drop on my skin and it makes me sick. 😂
Also, pleeease do a Kaheela Lux and Platinum review. I'm dying to hear your thoughts on those!!

And I don't understand what's with Al Haramain and making tons of dupes for Erba Pura (there's the Gold and Extreme and the original that are all dupes). It just smells like dusty gummy bears to me. That DNA is so played out and juvenile!
I could not agree more. Al Haramain is so quiet here in Dubai. No new releases. Even the new L’Aventures are not released here. Very weird.
They're hard to find in the US as well. The only place I've seen them was on Jomashop, and I've seen only one review.
No one really talks about Al Haramain. They have a few dupes for BR 540, but that DNA is played out as well, plus the Amber Oud line is rather expensive (like, why? It's all just a bunch of the same dupes). My only real favorite from the line is the Tobacco Edition.
Hi Sim...I can tell you that there are different batches of these perfumes that smell a bit different. My friend and I have bought the same fragrances and sometimes they actually smell a bit different. My Assam does not have that odor, but, frankly I don't really care for it. I bought December Vanilla and mine was actually vile. I had to throw it out. I think that they need to prove quality control on these perfumes.

There is definitely a problem with quality control with these brands. Some batches are head and tail different. I’m sure most of the disagreements happen because we are actually smelling different perfumes lol. It’s insane.
Unfortunately with these brands are trying to keep a low cost and I don’t see quality control happening anytime soon 😞
I'm hoping it's just a difference between one's that have sat awhile and ones that just rolled off the line.
Hello Simin good video! You know I tried so badly to like Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited but I just can't. I keep doing what you are doing with Ansaam Gold 😂 at 1st sniff I was repulsed by the artificial sunscreen coconut, and then I let it sit for about a month, and same feeling. It has now sat for about 5 months and I don't like it. I even wear it around the house to see if it grows on me but ughhh no. It's too much of a sunscreen coconut and I don't enjoy that smell. Wish it was a coconut like in Musamam White Intense, now that coconut is beautiful. So it on my chopping block! Wishing you a great week pretty soul!! 😍

Omg Unlimited was a traumatizing scent to me. I wanted to puke when I first smelled it. The lactones are very badly done in it and I think that’s what’s bothering you as well 😂 I think it’s time to let go of that perfume babe. Like I did with Ansaam 🤣🤣🤣
If you by any chance own Soft by Al Rehab, try layering those two. I absolutely can’t stand Qaed Al Fursan on its own but that combination makes it smell at least decent I think 😂
Same! I keep hoping Qaed will change but everytime I smell it I think of the sour milk Simin mentioned and she’s 💯.
@@loveyn2000Thanks for the suggestion! I do not own that one but I did try to mask the smell with Qaed Al Fursan black bottle which I bought for my husband. I thought the pineapple would "mask" the smell and it did but not for long. The pineapple in the black bottle just couldn't compete with the strong lactonic scent. Oh well, I just need to let it go lol declutter it I must! 😊

I hate Erba Pura, HATE IT! I'm not so crazy about Delina either 😅 I've just discovered Lattafa Shahd is a Dolce Garden dupe. Fragrantica shows it smells like Narciso Rodriguez Ambree, idk, haven't smelled that one. But, to my nose, it's a beautiful tropical floral with nice longevity and gives me big-time Dolce Garden vibes 😊 I appreciate your maceration updates. I would rather see that than constant new releases ❤ty❤

I do enjoy the extrait version and can see myself wearing it someday when I can afford it lol. But none of the dupes are worth it. You are tempting me with Shahd lol. Plus it is not very pricey here in Dubai. I will get it for review. I am on a lookout for fresher perfumes with good longevity. I think we need more off those now ❤❤❤

I don’t get the hype around Ansaam Gold, it’s smells like laundry detergent to me and has something sharp in it. But I have also learned that I do not like the LDBS or Oriana DNA so that could be a reason for not liking it too 😂

Hi Simin. What a nice type of video❤❤❤. I really like watching declutters, they give me a lot of information. I am too weak to declutter my own stuff. Sometimes I give perfumes to my mum or sister. I never sell what I once bought, just give to family. And the rest stays in my cupboards or boxes🥹

I love declutters! I have been holding onto Amber Oud gold edition and I cannot stand it. I've had it for like 6 months. I cannot with it. It annoys me how much I can't bare the smell. I don't understand how it is so popular.

Hi Simin, When you blind buy unfortunately sometimes you may experience a flop:( It happened to me last month with Ajayeb Dubai Portrait Lattafa- I had to scrub it off. It is so green on my skin-unberable. I will let it sit and will try it in 2-3 months- I hope it will change.💮
Do others smell it the same way as you? I got a sample of ajayeb Dubai portrait and my partner smells only mango in it while I smell the greens like you. Have you had that experience?

I think Ajayeb smells very different on everyone. One me the Mango is very very prominent and I don't get the green at all. Coz you know, I hate green weirdness in my perfumes. Does it smell green on your clothes as well?
@@SiminShaikh Hi Simin, it already changed a lot (I have it 4 days) I can still smell this green note but so much milder- it is more plesent now. On clothes it smells very similar. My husband says that it smells sweet and he doesnt smell this green note:) My nose is broken:)
@@babuyadav2336 Hi again:) I did ask my husband to describe what he smells. He said that he smells sweet scent and nothing green or spicy. He also said that he is not sure if he smells mango but it is definately a sweet fragrance. I dont smell any sweetness:) This green note is milder now (after 4 days after opening and spraying perfume first time). It is definatelly transforming:) I will let it sit for 2-3 months and than I will try it again.
I hava a issue with my Club de nuit Untold,it still smells cat piss to my nose 😢 thinking letting it go, I was hoping maceration fixes it but…6 months later it still smells that
Oh no really? Mine was very weak and like gasoline when I first got it. Now it is awesome. Nearly identical to BR540 and lasts quite long too. The pretty bottle is a huge plus! ♥️ I hope yours gets better soon. I think mine took about 7 months to macerate

Ansaam Gold is the worse fragrance Lattafa has ever introduced. I pick up the SAME weird scent. I picked this note up in Andaleeb BUT it went away quickly after macerating about a week after arrival. I WISH I could identify this note so I could avoid it in the future. BTW my bottle of AG is 6 months in to maceration and has not improved AT ALL. So disappointed I could cry, I so wanted to love it.
I know how you feel babe! I was so looking forward when Ansaam was released. And the reception was so anticlimactic for me. It sucked! I had it for almost a year before I finally decided to get rid of it. I hope you can sell it so you can buy and love something new my hun 🤗♥️
I wanted caramel cascade for so long..... and when I finally got it, I hated it😢 it smells like sour milk on me.

Yesssss! I could not agree more ❤ I feel so light after every declutter. I just got the perfumes listed and they will be gone one by one. I have not tried any of the Ahmed Al Maghrabi perfumes yet. I am planning to visit their store soon as I really dont want to blind buy with new brands ❤
I hv decluttered marj finally😂 Now i want to declutter : Ajayeb Dubai black , Morhaf, Alive Now ( i dont reach for it) , Rawaa, Rose Gourmand , Bayaan ( oud is different in it which i m not enjoying) nd so many 😂😂
Thank goodness I didn’t buy Marj. I just had a feeling I would not like it. Mohrah will stay with me for now for traditional occasions lol. Rawaa coz it’s Good Girl dupe, I never got it. Lol. I dodged a lot of bullets there 😂

I only decluttered a perfume once. It was supposed to be a mint chocolate and I love mint chocolate. Turned out to be dominated by caramel and it wasn't long-wearing either. And I since I hate caramel or any sticky-smelling perfume, I gave it to my best friend's friend. I've been contemplating about Good Girl too but it's smelling more alcoholic now but subsides after some tine. I'll feel bad for someone else. I just disappointed that it's not as chocolatey as the one I tested in the mall. Any Middle Eastern dupe that is chocolate/cacao forward than this?
Yea I let go of it too lol. I took the plunge. I just know I will never ever wear it.
Good girl is one of the DNAs I don’t like. The OG good girl. The flankers are a bit better so I never got any of the middle eastern perfumes duping it.
I have yet to come across a proper chocolate forward perfume. Like proper milk chocolate or dark chocolate. No luck so far though 😂

Musk mood is awful 🤢 and Oud caramel 🤮 i already have them both in my collection hopefully find somebody in my family/friendzone to gift it, but no one else like it 🤪
Silky rose Mohra is also terrible in my nose. Qaed al fursan is a too strong pineapple. I bought this perfume a half year before and I really can’t wear this perfume. All i smell is strong pineapple 🤢
