The blacks bar ain't deep, he's betting on blacks to be good with a knife, like roulette because you bet on the ball to land on black or red
"Close with the ballers 'cos I know the Wright fam" is also a double entendre referring to GTA roleplay where his character is close with a gang called 'East Side Ballas' (aka 'Ballas'), so it can be heard as "close with the Ballas 'cos I know the right fam". Similarly, the T1000 bar can also be seen as a reference to GTA as well.

It's so difficult to explain to people who don't understand, you hit it on the nose, his punchlines and metaphors are so self explanatory, until u think and then you realise each punchline has 3 meanings or 'layers'

Pay for the pitch like it’s 5 a side - a pitch is a field that you play football or soccer on but also in UK when people refer to a pitch it’s usually in regard to a phone call or a message to light someone up, and you have to pay for that said phone call or “pitch”
When he says "even if I don't wanna roll outside ill pay for the pitch like 5 a side" he means even if he don't wanna roll up on man he'll pay someone else to do it. Just like the I pay man to roll through like ulez bar, ulez is a London road toll company where high emission cars pay extra.

Regarding the Blacks bar, Blacks is a member of the grime crew, OGz. But also, if you think about the colors that are on a roulette wheel, it's organized into three colors: red, black, and green. The only number that’s in green is 0. Every other number after that is either in red or black. So, if you’ve heard someone at the roulette table say they’re gonna bet on black, they’re betting on a number that’s the color black, which is almost half of the roulette wheel.

I don’t know if it was a conscious decision but when you first stated you gave almost every song a 9/10+ across the board. Last few months your ratings have seemed much more genuine and I really appreciate that. The fact you’ll happily give beat a flow a 6/10 just makes the songs that get big ratings feel that little bit more special. If it’s a conscious decision then I hope you realise at least one person noticed and appreciated it 👏🏼
Tbh, my "ratings" have always been genuine, but more so I started trying to have a rhyme and reason for why I score what I do. The thing with a "reaction" vs a "review" or "breakdown" is how you feel IMMEDIATELY after listening can sometimes be more passionate than after a few listens (ex: while editing).
However, the "lower" ratings have also been from having more point of reference from doing this longer. For example, anything that isn't Two Face, Dave, Ghetts, P Money level wordplay is unlikely to get a 10 for lyricism in MY book. Now that I have a better understanding of the kind of songs I actually end up listening to after the reaction, more things been getting 6s and 7s for replay value. But you're absolutely right that I been a LITTLE more critical, so I appreciate you for pointing it out.

I might be late to this but when someone puts up a poster, it's a facing the opposite way so the backside is stuck to the wall, whilst the front of the paper is viewable, hence "Put your back against the wall like a poster".

It’s a shame a lot of uk slang isn’t understood by Americans so they don’t realise just how good the word play is. For instance there’s a bar near the beginning where he says “I’ll pay man to drive threw like ULEZ”. This bar went unnoticed what is a shame. ULEZ is a thing what the government has made to create clean air zones in the UK. They’re mainly in town centres of big cities. To reduce pollution they charge you a daily fee to drive in these zones. So what he’s basically saying here is he will pay someone to come do a drive by/hit on you just like he would pay the charge to drive into these ULEZ clean air zones.

The only person I can think of who did that bar better is Songer “West Ham Players - I’m doubling Cheques” after they signed a second Czech player. But Songer is his one league so 2nd to him is very impressive still.
