Working with a financial advisor has been a game-changer for me. They provided invaluable insights and tailored strategies that aligned perfectly with my risk tolerance and financial objectives. With their support, I've seen significant growth in my investments and gained confidence in my financial future.
Sharon Ann Meny, is the licensed advisor I use and i'm just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
I agree with you. As an early investor in NVDA, AVGO, ANSS, and LRCX, my financial advisor's advice was incredibly helpful. Over the past 7 years, she has helped me find stocks that did 10x multiple times. With her help, I've grown my portfolio to over a million dollars.
@@PatrickLloyd- I'm glad I found this conversation. I have cash to invest but am worried about picking the wrong stocks. Can you refer me to your financial advisor?
I've stuck with SOPHIE LYNN CARRABUS since the pandemic, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field with over two decades of experience, simply look her up.

I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. started this journey with 6k. I have invested on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
Don't be seduced by large dividends, you should rather concentrate on the total run. There's no sense in large dividends if your overall investment is going down. However I'd say JPEQ, VOO, QQQ and IWMI. I put down $100k to ETFs. It's earning season you know, it was around this period last year I made a huge breakthrough with $50k. Handed it to a remunerative fin adviser and analyst. Looking forward to how this end of year plays out.
You’re 21 years old and you’ve already started investing. In my opinion you’re doing awesome. Keep going and be consistent and just imagine 20 years from now how much money you’ll have.

Considering selling some of my 3020 shares in $SCHD near its 52-week high with a cost basis of $42.19 to lock in profits. I intend to retain some shares while reallocating funds to ETFs or stocks showing stronger performance. Thoughts?
Well all i know is that you cannot go wrong taking profit at near high. No one ever went broke taking a ~10% profit. It's best if you consult with a fiduciary advisor for sound portfolio restructuring.
I was also in a similar position few years ago, i took profit and it went even higher. Upon realizing that a change was necessary, I consulted a fiduciary advisor in 2020 and since then my $500k portfolio has averaged returns of 40% annually through restructuring and diversification.
I’m cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. You may consider independent financial advisors like " Lauren Christine Campbell'' I've worked with her and I'd gladly commend her exemplary service on a public post.
Hi Marcos hope you are well. I’ll only add that anyone looking for a place to open an acct pick a company like Fidelity that allows fractional share buying. Some ETFs like VOO can run 600$ a share. When I was 20 something you can’t always scrape up 600$ for 1 share.
I did lots of backtesting and found that 20% SCHD/DGRO, 20% VGT/QQQ/SCHG 20% VOO and 40% bonds or 4%+ money market matches the growth of SP500 in up years but reduces the losses in down years by 40-60%. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

Dividends sparked my interest in the stock market. If you have other income, you can live on dividends without selling investments, allowing you to pass them on to your children. My $600k portfolio includes covered call ETFs for dividends and growth ETFs (SCHD, VOO, VTI, SDY, and JEPI). Am i on track?
Investing long-term in ETFs and high-dividend stocks is a straightforward way to build generational wealth. Notably, over 80% of billionaires are stock investors, expanding their billion-dollar portfolios. The rich do what the poor fear!
Absolutely! Wealth is made in growth investing . We aren’t in a bear market, but nibbling heavy red days has proven to be fruitful for me over 9 years of investing. I am at 2.25 mil. Biggest positions PLTR, TSLA, SCHD, VOO, and now looking to build up DRGO alongside finding quality value/growth stocks to buy. I got $48k divs last year in taxable divs. Q3 taxable divs this year was $18,388 this year. Don't sell when the market is down. Having a skilled CFA that puts the time in to do in-depth research can be invaluable in strategizing your portfolio.
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I really needed it. I looked her up on Google and explored her website; she has an impressive background in investments. I've sent her an email, and I hope to hear back from her soon!
Can someone explain how SCHD was at 70+ a share in 2023 but when I look in 2023 I can find it going over 70 dollars. It stayed in the 20s range. I don’t get it. Please help
it did a stock split. 3:1. So the price went down from the 70s to the mid 20s. Since roughly 3 times let’s say 25 is 75. Doesn’t change the value of schd. Just meant to provide shareholders with easier access to the etf at a cheaper price. Happens all the time. Mostly likely VOO will share split too and other high $500 Vanguard funds for example
I’ve actually been thinking about doing this. Maybe you can give me some ideas. I was thinking maybe a video on individual dividend stocks and maybe another on tech stocks
@@Marcos_Millahow about the difference between dividend paying stocks and non-paying. How they are tax efficient and non- tax efficient for both taxable and non taxable accounts. I had to learn by trial and error! 😅
In my opinion most likely not. But hey anything can happen. if tech stocks spiral down and value defensive stocks go up a lot more then schd could benefit largely

I love schd in an IRA. With Tesla it really depends on your risk tolerance and due diligence that you’ve done into the company. I’m honestly no expert on Tesla but if you were to ask me about this, I would try and diversify more into maybe other individual stocks or have a growth etf where Tesla is a high holding to get exposure to it. Tesla will be volatile of course moving forward and has been in the past so I would maybe keep it at a lower stake of your portfolio but if you really believe in it since you’ve probably done more research than me then go for it.

@@Marcos_Milla Great video and thank you for responding.. Next question on the mega Roth. My work uses fidelity. Do I ask fidelity about the in-service after tax contribution or do I ask my work? Overall, should I just seek a financial advisor?
I’m retired and I prefer BRKB. No dividends but double the return and performance of SCHD, I’m not hamstrung to pay taxes as SCHD automatically requires, and it’s more defensive than SCHD. Double the return, more defensive buy the all time best investor? Only those who are fear based and haven’t done their research don’t know BRKB will do even better after Buffet passes.
How do you plan to invest at the beginning of 2025 for your roth IRA? Do you plan to ivest all 7k at the beginning or doller cost average over the first week, month, or year?
I’ll most likely deposit 7k into the account to max it out but it will sit as cash for the 7k. And then I’ll most likely just dollar coast average over the next 3 months
They’re essentially the same thing, but he’s a more in depth answer. SCHB follows the Dow Jones US Broad Stock Market index, VTI follows the CRSP US Total Market index. They both hold thousands of stocks, and they both use the same methodology (float-adjusted, market-cap-weighted). VTI holds many more stocks (4,000 vs. 2,400 for SCHB), but at the smaller end of the scale those stocks don't make much of a dent. They both have the same expense ratio. In effect, their performance is essentially identical, as you can on many charts since they track the total stock market in essence (all caps). honestly if you have Charles Schwab as your brokerage then go with Schb but if you have Vanguard as your brokerage then go with VTI. If you have neither as a brokerage then flip a coin but I own VTI in my 401k so I’ll go with VTI.
I am a student, new to etfs and looking to invest 2000 euro right now and keep adding 200 a month long term, how would you advice investing? From your videos I saw VOO, SCHD and QQQM, what about EM? Thank you very much, your answer would mean a lot to me and you gained a new subscriber!
Totally! Welcome! From EM, I’m assuming you’re talking about emerging markets. I’m not too fond of going in an emerging market etf because of globalization and 40% of the large cap us companies revenues come internationally. But I like VT as my favorite all around etf that includes international and emerging markets. I would invest like you have it with dollar cost averaging that $200 a month long term (at least 10 years ideally to however long you plan investing but most people invest for all their life practically). I would say to get a good investing brokerage that’s available for your country and just stick to a portfolio that you can invest in long term given there will be bumpy times along the way. I would keep schd at the lowest holding if you go with it in your portfolio and prioritize the other ETFs like VOO then QQQM.
@ wow I didn’t expect such a detailed response, thank you for the advice man. Definitely recommending you to my friends and family. Keep up the phenomenal work, inspriring new clueless ppl like me everyday 😂
Hey my friend. It’s been plaguing a lot of TH-camrs in the finance space I would say over the last year. We’re just seeing the start of Bitcoin’s parabolic phase. There might be slight retraces, but we still have months to go. I believe we will peak at $150,000 in 2025.
Exact plan; Crypto through 2025, then high yield ETFs through the bear market 26’-27’. I have $50K in the money market that I want to move into stocks & bitcoin, but I’m scared of buying at the top. Any suggestions?
To maximize this cycle, focus on growth stocks, small caps, and Bitcoin. As someone pointed out too; Working with a financial advisor can save and make you money. For example, my advisor allocated a small part of my portfolio based on Nancy Pelosi’s investments, which is legal. That portion has increased by 71% in six months.
She goes by ‘’Melissa Elise Robinson’’ a renowned figure in the financial industry with over two decades of experience. I'd suggest you research her further on the web.
There’s many reasons why since schd has a lot of oil and bank stocks which haven’t been in much favor compared to tech stocks. My buddy’s channel called fundamentals of finance made an excellent video recently explaining why
The mentality is of course buy and hold it. Sometimes people need more info or newbies that don’t understand that you need to buy and hold for the long haul since newbies sell out at the first signs of underperformance or a pull back
My buddy made a video titled “ schd is dropping like a rock: the real reasons” on his channel called fundamentals of finance. He is a CFA charterholder, works in the industry, and is the only guy I trust for like thorough explanations like this.

honestly if you have Charles Schwab as your brokerage then go with Schb but if you have Vanguard as your brokerage then go with VTI. If you have neither as a brokerage then flip a coin but I own VTI in my 401k so I’ll go with VTI.
@ thank you. Was curious on both and am considering adding SCHB to my portfolio because of cost
Marcos, any way of getting rid of the scam bots? They ruin your presentation.
Hey my friend. It’s been plaguing a lot of TH-camrs in the finance space I would say over the last year. YT does a pretty good job on filtering out most of the scam comments since if you thought it was a lot…it would be way worse if YT doesn’t automatically review scam comments but I will try to reach out to YT to make it better!
Can you share details of your advisor? I want to invest my increased cash flow in stocks and alternative assets to achieve financial goals.
She goes by ‘’Melissa Elise Robinson’’ a renowned figure in the financial industry with over two decades of experience. I'd suggest you research her further on the web.
I looked up her name online and found her page. I emailed and made an appointment to talk with her. Thanks
So far it's going down i don't know 😕
There’s many reasons why since schd has a lot of oil and bank stocks which haven’t been in much favor compared to tech stocks. My buddy’s channel called fundamentals of finance made an excellent video recently explaining why
Why do videos like these exist? What guide is there? Just buy it and hold it and done. I don’t get it
The mentality is of course buy and hold it. Sometimes people need more info or newbies that don’t understand that you need to buy and hold for the long haul since newbies sell out at the first signs of underperformance or a pull back
Why is it down?
My buddy made a video titled “ schd is dropping like a rock: the real reasons” on his channel called fundamentals of finance. He is a CFA charterholder, works in the industry, and is the only guy I trust for like thorough explanations like this.
Amazing performance? Not in the past 2 weeks I lost way more in share price than the dividend I'm getting today. I lost about twice as much.
2 weeks is not a long enough period to evaluate performance hahhahah
Holding for 10 plus years is key to seeing returns buy on a dip of 20% or more or dca for the next decade Costco has 225% return over 5 years
Schd keeps falling
Time to buy
My buddy at fundamentals of finance made an excellent video explaining why. He just made a video titled “ schd is dropping like a rock: the real reasons “. He is a CFA charter holder and actually works in the investment industry in portfolio management so he is my go to guy personally for an explanation
@ I will definitely be holding 20+ years. The compounding is too good. Appreciate your feedback and have a merry Christmas!
Thank you for recommending Sarah Jennine Davis on one of your videos. I reached out to her and investing with her has been amazing. 8 months of trading, $400k saved, debts cleared and a portfolio just shy of half a million. Can’t thank you enough
