Great buddy. Can you add an internet via GSM module into the mix? So we can avoid using our phone's hotspot to provide internet connection. I find it not convenient to assume there'll be wifi available, for a project like this. It should be self sufficient to for provide it's own internet connection, like using GSM module, whether it's SIM800L or SIM7600,or any. You're doing such a great job buddy, keep it up 😊

Hi, really appreciate your tutorial here. I have tried and make the gps tracking work. But on some occasions when the device passes through a tunnel or a blackout zone the lat and long value default to 0, 0. In this scenario the poly line would then be drawn from the last location to 0, 0 on the map and when signal is back it will jump back. As I am a novice in html, I am not sure if it is possible to program to run the polyline function only when lat and long value not equal to 0, 0. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have the Pi4 and a USB dongle with xgps installed and finding satellites just fine but from that point forwards Ive spent a lot more hours than Id care to admit and I can get no further.
can this make using battery so were planning to use it for our capstone to track a boat can you make one that use battery and something and for it's internet? i don't really have enough knowledge for this so please help :(
