- Hello everyone
The day has finally arrived when its time to say goodbye to Kapila and get shifted to the main hostels. So Welcome you all to the my new Hostel Tour at the beautiful campus of IIT Hyderabad. Right now I am been shifted to Vyasa Block. I will be showing you how the new hostels looks from inside the hostel of IIT Hyderabad, what all facilities do we have etc.
Its an emotion day to leave Kapila as we had an amazing experience over here with lot of good memories.
So in this video I have made a complete tour of my new room. In total we have 12 hostels and 1 married student hostel ( which is not yet provided ). The names of the hostel are as follows.
ARYABHATTA, BHASKARA, GARGI, MAITREYI. These hostels are for Girls.
BRAHMAGUPTA, CHARAKA, KAUTILYA, SUSRUTA, VARAHAMIHIRA, VYASA these hostels are for boys.
The M.Tech and PhD first year students stay in KAPILA, where as B.Tech first year stays in RAMANUJA.
we have a total capacity of 3000 students. currently new blocks are under construction which will be allotted to the students once they have been completed.

1st year mtech in kapila double sharing later in 2nd year you get single rooms

No everyone are given block based on the availability

Buddy is there provision for cooler/AC in rooms
no A/C is required here as we have radiant cooling in our hostels
