yep, it's tipical italian.
in Italy you're usually not allowed to stop the ball on any rod. so it's unusual for them to train snake- and pinshots unless they know they're gonna play abroad.
the moving shots they learn instead, for eg. the different tipes of slingshots have a high level of difficulty and are quite entertaining.
