Something that never seems to be mentioned is certain bosses seem to 1 shot your entire team if you enter the boss stage with less than a full team. Eg try level 7 of undead hordes with just 2 level 60s and 3 empty spots. For some reason the boss ignores all defense and 1 shots them, if I enter with a full team this doesn't happen.
Again great video HH, I'm at lvl 10 and 15 in faction wars and absolutely had no clue on what champs to feed resources into. The chart with pictures absolutely 💯 helpful for me to put a face with a name. Touching on the roles of champions was also very helpful !!
This is amazing. The sheet is an overall key to team design that applies across the game. I feel like this is the solutions section in the back of a math book. Thank you for the massive work it took to make this.
this list is going to be sooooo helpfull when i start building faction wars. think i will start building out 50s to test out team comps and get a daily farm on the new materials. thank you so much for this list!
Thx Hell Hades gained a lot of stars since ive worked on team Synergy and understood the importance of wave control and sustain. Epics can carry you to 21` for most factions. Think outside the Lego Box ! Coldbrew has some great FW too
I'd like to add, a special commendation to Metal Shaper in the Lizardmen. The cleanse, small shields and heal was a life saver for me on Stage 14. Without him, my lizards would just have died from poison, burns, and being feared. I gave him 4 resist pieces to ignore the debuffs the boss was doing.

I only have three to my name myself, about 15 days away from getting Scyl from daily login, and it might seem obvious to those who have a lot of Legos and are familiar with them, but I think the same faction charts for the Legos would be greatly appreciated, too. Thx for that great content (as usual). Only criticism I have is with the „ok“ row. For most f2p or low-spender levelling up a champion to 60 (or even 50) takes a considerable amount of time. Having said that, I would never invest into a champ in the „ok“ row (unless they are end-game viable somewhere else in the game, which they are not) and rather wait until I get an epic of the top rows.
I came here to appreciate the team synergy. Beat Dark Elves 21 with Psyler(stun), Fang Cleric(fast), Kaiden(tank+dps), Serris(pvp+immunity), and Pain Keeper(bateater build). Fang Cleric is highly underrated and pulled this comp through with utility heals and revives!

Dwarves is the only Faction I’m smashing after getting Rock Breaker and Grizzled Jarl from the 2x Ancients. This is definitely going to help with the other Factions. Many Thanks HH from 🇿🇦
Nice work, that's a very helpful guide. I wouldn't mind if Legendaries were added maybe down below, just to have a quick glance at what roles they fulfill when your planning your teams. Might be a lot of extra work though.
Great video. Definitely cannot do a tier list for FW. Team comp and gear are make or break. And let me add this is especially useful because some factions players will want to move down from certain leggos to epics/rares because they will work better. An all leggo team will not necessarily do well.

Happy to provide it, should you want to review and perhaps publish. Wondering though, why Warcaster doesn't even rate an Ok in Banner Lords for Protection? He's void, has a 2 random buff steal on his A1, Block buffs on A2 and Block Damage on A3
Amazing job. As always. I believe a good add for the next one. Is just to give the a suggestion of gear to use. In the faction that lack or control I use stun gear and worked amazing. If you use any A1 AoE champion. This helps lots.

Would love to see the legendaries also in the spreadsheet. Would help to theorycraft the team if we know the heroes from factions that we have. Not in the tiers spreadsheet bracket but below everything so we know which legendaries is in which faction.
Very useful, thanks! I thought that Plarium should add sorting options for the champion list for role (attack, defense, HP, support) but your categories are even more useful. Still, for us new players it's more a matter of patience than anything else. I use Jizoh since he is my only lizardman, and Apothecary is my only high elf. I have yet to see a rare Dwarf, and building up a Chemist proved to be a waste; I just skip the Dwarf crypt when it opens. I finally have a Steelskull and a Greybeard, so I should gain some stars soon in the Skinwalker crypt.
Abyssal is actually good in demonspawn , hes a1 has a aoe hits deacent has a aoe increase atk and def for us and has block buff on a1 and also has healing on a2 . Hes carrying me in demonspawn.
I know that shieldguard is uncommon but In barbarians is a great/god tier damage diler and ok tm control, plus with stun/sleep set he can be ok/great cc especially with marked. In demons faction i think very underrestymated champ is marquess, she's def champs with resonable stats, has got dec spd, aoe weaken and freez and she hits surprisingly hard. I made her for aura and i'm surprised that she hits harder than tyrel that i lvls up in the same time.
@Hell Hades: i think the next great help for the community would be how to gear champions from each category for faction wars. for example: lifesteal, high hp for nukers to survive, etc. what do you think?
Great guide, might have been an idea to mention those with a fraction crypt area as well as part of the guide as that might tip your towards one champ over another if both are similar.
Saurus does good damage work for the Lizardmen faction and getting through the waves. Easy to build with just continually eating other Saurus's for spell upgrades.

HH - Take a look at Madman in the Dwarves. His kit for dealing damage is actually pretty solid. I have him at 50, decent gear (Crit, Crit Dmg, Spd) and he puts in work man. Seriously.

Commander Banner Lords Uncommon should be an honorably mention at least imo, chance to stun on A1 and heal with turn meter fill if she fully heals someone else.

Knight Revenant under damage section you maybe forgot FACELESS, or maybe you don t like it , but he saved my a** at Valkyrie and Reinbeast / Sir Nicholas stages, taking them out one by one bypassing shields and defence with CD reduction mastery on offense tree and support tree to hope to get one valk out every 2 turns.
For Lizardmen, Basilisk in a stun set is better than Jarang for me. Jarang is only potentially useful for his A3. But the CC a stun set Basilisk brings is good and his self revive can be clutch.
Your knight revenant god tier list are the exact 5 champions I run in FW. lol. I can’t pass stage 20 though. They are built very well too. Bystophus is the only legendary I have for Knight Revenant.
Senechal has good AoE provoke, also Rearguard is damage dealer also, she does about 30 k hits with A2. Also Arcanist is decent as healer/buffer for Revenants if you miss the monster or other good epics. Also, it would be great if you add Scyl and the other Lego that is free to get to the chart.
Me too! I only have 9 atm, with 2 for Barbies (Scyl pulled early and Kantra), and Orcs (Kreela and Grohak) so they pretty much fit well for each faction then I build around them.
Legendaries are pretty much always worth using for faction wars in whatever role they might be designed for. Theres really only a handful of epics that beat alot of legendaries anyway
@@robmoyer721 Booking legendaries is difficult and not a realistic idea just for faction wars alone indeed. Still the bottom tier legos got buffed nicely, it leaves very few useless ones.

You forgot lich 3 turn turnmeter depletion
The most encouraging part of this is that I have most of the champions you recommend, and FW doesn't seem nearly so hopeless.

yep - hopefully the follow up might help with that. As i dont think you need all 60s everywhere to make this work

For dwarves you left out Runic Warder. He has heals on a 3 turn cool down with reflect damage. He also can hit pretty hard. Show some love.

Lizardmen Saurus I've got for honorable mention for the damage category. He combos with Jizoh for lots of counterattack goodness.
