    I am surprised by the amount of modifications to be done by the consumer... For example cutting the roof for the chimney, cutting some parts of the wall to be able to add the main door, etc...

      Yes, I tend to agree with your point. Personally, I like kit bashing, but this is supposed to be an cheap and easy beginners model. I guess there are a lot of these houses out there without chimneys 😕

      Is it! I actually didn't know that. I knew Faller took over a lot of moulds from Pola, but wasn´t familiar with this one. It is a very simple model so in that sense I can see it as a re-run of an older set. Thanks!

      @@SundborgModelRailway Well almost every model kit company made a house kit like that anyway, also Faller bought a company called Hoffman back in the 60's that was known for it's 1:87 scale village in a bag sets. That's where some of their early houses and train station's moulds came from!

    Why you cut the chimnys top ?

      I shortened the chimney and moved it to the top of the roof to make the house look more Danish :-)
