I know it could never ever compare to anything you make, but when we go to the China buffet one of my favorite things to do is take a few dumplings in a bowl, pour some of the sauce over them, then some hot and sour soup, then some steamed rice. So so so good.

I lost my dad when i was 17 due to liver failure, during my teenage years i didnt enjoy with him much due to my studies, board exams and didnt know much about his condition(he was diagnosed only in later stages we didnt find out sooner)…. I miss him and regret so much that i was not able to spend time with him when he was sick. I am happy seeing you spend time with your dad during his crucial times giving him so many happy memories.

I am sorry for your lost I hope everything will be OK that you will be able to cope with the pain and know that he will be always watching you with a smile I also lost my dad to cancer when I was 6 years old I know how you feel I hope you know that you are not alone stay safe hope the memories you have with him will forever be in your heart.
I lost my dad when i was 17 due to liver failure, during my teenage years i didnt enjoy with him much due to my studies, board exams and didnt know much about his condition(he was diagnosed only in later stages we didnt find out sooner)…. I miss him and regret so much that i was not able to spend time with him when he was sick. I am happy seeing you spend time with your dad during his crucial times giving him so many happy memories.

I’ve lost my dad to cancer too & it was 28 years ago. I still misses him after so long & you’re so right Tiffy, I’ve always felt that I never had enough time with him… Thus I’m glad that during his last days I had tried to spend as much time as possible with him. Tiffy, I can understand the depth of your grief right now as with the passing of my dad years back. Please know that my heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. I also thought of sharing this quote I stumbled upon a few years ago when I lost a loved for the first time and did not know how to handle grief or what was normal. "Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go".

I lost my sweet Dad, Pops, in January 2022. It was rapid. Time has lessened the pain some, but I miss him and still grieve, though it’s different.
