The "bitches get stuff done" skit had SUCH an impact on me in highschool. It's still my favorite SNL moment to this day. Anytime someone calls me a bitch my response is always "yeah and bitches get stuff done!"

This had me feeling nostalgic. I had forgotten how big a part of my life SNL was when I was a teenager. Tina Fey had already left the show in 2006, and her coming back for so many guest appearances in 2008 felt like a righteous return. She was always the smartest, funniest part of the show. Nowadays, I still enjoy SNL, but I do get the feeling that the target audience is a little younger and a little more Brooklyn-y than me.
The fact that the words "Sarah Palin" immediately conjure up an image of Tina Fey says enough about her legacy. What a legend. Much love Tina, thanks for all the laughs

I love Tina Fey and Amy Poler and I loved them together on Weekend Update, but saying feminists shouldn't abandon Hilary Clinton for Obama didn't exactly hit the same immediately after picking on Lindsay Lohan for looking old and Kristy Ally for looking fat. Maybe don't tear down other women for how well they are keeping up with traditional beauty standards right before a grand "bitches gotta stay together" plea. Because bitches be stronger together.
