I could be wrong but I think they’ve got a voice for the main character, a select few of his internal lines seemed to be done with VO

Agreed. There was another Disco-like game I saw, it's in development, and the narrator was a womans voice (which I think are generally nicer to listen to), can't remember the name of it though.

I love it, but the flickering outlines are a bit distracting for me. I understand it's a creative choice, but it doesn’t quite work for my taste.
