Amazing tone, thankful you take time to do these videos. And thankful you provide Strymon presets. Love you for that dude! Hope you do a tutorial for their new song "This is the Kingdom."
Thank you bro! Just hope this all helps our EG community out there. Thank YOU for what you do for the King and His people!
As for “This is the Kingdom”… 👀
Thank you so much for this vid. So helpful!!!!! Great job!
Thanks man. Gosh it helps!!
Could someone please explain the slide Tone? Heavy reverb and delay, probably some drive?
You nailed it. Maybe compressor.
What keys this in?
Db Major
Can capo deteriorate guitar tune ?
Oh most definitely. Always tune up after placing a capo.
If the guitar has a good setup then it shouldn't push it out of tune that much. But always tune just in case.
If intonation isn't set it'll be a problem, most noticeably when capo is place high on the neck. But like EGSource said, just tune to that pitch and you're fine.
What amps are you using in your videos?
What capo do you use in this video
I had to look at it to even know this, but it is a Planet Waves NS Pro 🤷🏻♂️
@@EGSource thanks I’m looking for one that doesn’t push my guitar as out of tune as the one I have currently. I appreciate the reply🙏🏻
@@lucathemusician4159 Get the capo as close to the fret as possible. On top of the back side of the fret if you can stand the lack of hand space. It keeps the capo from stretching the strings so much.
Having the guitar's nut cut properly also helps immensely to keep the action low and the capo's pull to a minimum.
Key???
Db…
@@EGSource Thanks
It sounds great! But the intro part is wrong
It’s different but works just as well. It needs to just drop in notes. I do it that way now currently rather than what’s on this video
Not "wrong",just different, besides it gives options to the player
What kind of slide are you using?? I'm looking for something shorter like that!
It’s a Dunlop “shorty” or “knuckle” slide
❤❤❤
If I try to play it that way when I play with the worship band, I'll be told I'm using too much delay/chorus and not to do it
Wow. That’s interesting.
shouldn’t be a huge problem especially in a mix. It may sound like a lot now but in a mix it isn’t.
Is there any pitch effects like a POG on that hook riff, if so what intervals are you using?
Yep a POG.
@@EGSource awesome, do you have just the high octave engaged or both the sub and high octave?
@@Tylerjamesalford it’s both but with the octave up being more highlighted. I have the sub octave present but very subtle
? p̲r̲o̲m̲o̲s̲m̲
Cool training wheels I mean Capo. Maybe try tuning down to get rid of that cheater bar.
🤦🏻♂️
🤦
This might be the dumbest comment I’ve seen on TH-cam.
