I watched that scene too, and it felt so out of place because they almost never really focus on the female characters unless: 1) Sexual tension 2) Death scene 3) Virtue signaling So I cringed so hard when I watched it in theaters because I knew number three was what they were going for, and like you said, there should have been more female centric movies (and honestly just female centric, feminine gaze scenes).
@@Sam-ux4kw Except, it's easy for us to say now.. there should've been more female centric movies in phase 1. @@reaganolivia7755 yeah that's the issue, he's the exact type of YTer I wanna watch but the main thing that discreditts him is some of the sexist thing he says on occasion
@@reaganolivia7755 I think it was mainly just because the movie didn't seem intriguing to him (which is fair enough) not necessarily because it had a female lead role. Also, they should've had a female lead role a lot sooner than they did, it can't be denied; and I think he just thought the 'female empowerment scene' felt a bit forced and that it kinda seemed like they were just trying to make up for all the times the female roles have kinda been pushed to the side a bit. Although, I don't have problem with the scene, however, it does feel a little forced, but hey-ho I like it.

So I did enjoy the scene where all the women are together despite it’s absolute cheesiness because it showed just how many badass women we have in this universe. However, you are 100% correct that had we had more female centric solo movies in the early phases, it wouldn’t have been necessary.
In fact, the scene in infinity war with Okoye, Nat & Wanda felt much more organic as opposed to the endgame one.
@@madisonm1811 I agree with that. But I am glad Marvel is evolving with more black characters and female leads
I watched that scene too, and it felt so out of place because they almost never really focus on the female characters unless:
1) Sexual tension
2) Death scene
3) Virtue signaling
So I cringed so hard when I watched it in theaters because I knew number three was what they were going for, and like you said, there should have been more female centric movies (and honestly just female centric, feminine gaze scenes).
@@Sam-ux4kw Except, it's easy for us to say now.. there should've been more female centric movies in phase 1. But that never could've happened cause when Marvel started up their comic book movie franchise, their female audience was seemingly minimal to none. Just think about how many male comic book nerds to female comic book nerds you know in real life, before the MCU Era. There would've been no considerable audience for a captain marvel movie back then. They're doing the best they can to keep up with their ever-expanding audience, even with the risk of virtue signaling. I literally have a friend who hated the fact that Falcon & Winter Soldier was focused on Racial issues and called it Disney's cheap marketing to be relevant with current trends
@@Aro7241 I get it but it's like, if you're gonna do it, do it right. You don't get to show us a all-female scene and not do any other work. That was point I was trying to make. And even if there was a large male audience, I still feel like over sexualizing these women is still wrong and sends the wrong message.

thanos is pretty hot ngl
the entire movie, i thought what thanos did was right... i mean, earth reflourished with fewer humans as it was overpopulated before; also, is not like he chose a specific group of people to die and he didn't overuse the power of the glove (he used it once and then destroyed it)
the movie just proved humans are selfish imo
@@musicslit1919 No, what Thanos did was pointless. He caused a lot of suffering for something that's as inevitable as he claimed to be.
Like guess what, eventually the universe would have been overpopulated again, the snap only set them back a couple of decades or centuries maybe and he destroyed the stones so it's not happening again.
@@musicslit1919 Resources may have re-flourished, but the mental health of humans/aliens on other planets declined. Why was it okay for Thanos to feel entitled to kill 50% of all life in the universe (this includes humans, animals, plants, and all other life forms on all other planets? Just because his home planet died due to lack of resources? Even before the stones, Thanos went around to multiple planets killing off half the population (not at random - he chose not to kill Gamora). Thanos wanting to get rid of half of life with complete disregard of the emotions/opinions of others is an act of selfishness. He could have used the stones to create more resources and spared people's lives.

If you never felt a hollow feeling after watching a movie that you loved and thought what now, is because you never watched a movie you really really enjoyed. Marvel fans enjoy it because you get to see characters grow old with you and it does not only affect a generation, but any generations since comics came out. It's a bonding moment. You have your right to not want to spend time watching every single material out there, but you cannot criticise those who do because everyone has different hobbies and is different that is the beauty of the world.
@@razkable because its a good show that goes indept on side characters and it introduces new characters?????
@@razkable do you understand about franchise or not you talking like a dumb person rn
I don’t think Dylan understood when Cap said, “Let’s get this son of a bitch” Cap doesn’t curse that much and in Age of Ultron he said, “Language!!” When Tony said, “Shit”
Yeah exactly!!
Who cares lmao
@@strainsofjasmine5658 Why exactly did you comment?
Bruh ye sure, make a big deal out of someone cursing cuz dats so cool
@@sweetmimosamommysaranghae3163 I'm not making a big deal out of it.

at the end i wished tony also snapped out some whales
they got on my nerves ngl

Dylan: enrages every marvel fan ever by not caring about Nat's death
Why would he care? She’s a pretty mediocre character and one of Scarlett Johanssons worst performances
Okay Dylan people can love each other without it being romantic
verena marie like Dylan and misoa (idk if that’s how you spell it 😕😕)
verena marie but you have to admit that it's weird for him to be that close to her and do that headbutt hug while he's married.
@@AnansiMutant She is his best friend and his family is gone. So i think it isn't really that weird. Also maybe she is the one he loves the most because she is the last one he loves.
@@hmmm4929 I agree, and they have such a long history together, so it's not really that wierd
@@AnansiMutant
He's married?
Dylan cares more about the whales then Hawkeye and Black Widow
me too

@@GentlyUsedFrog don't be like that.
He also says team thanos. He also didn’t actually care about the whole story himself. I mean there was probably a lot more animals that died because of the snap. Just picture a momma deer and baby deer and the momma deer disappeared and yeah there’s others Ecosystems ruined. Thanos isn’t the right here.
I hate him
I saw Endgame 2 times and after that told myself to never torture myself like that again but here we go, this is for you, Dylan.
Same. I've been trying to forget about it, and then this happens...
I just read "I saw Endgame 2" and I was like wait what
Exactly. I was like "I'm never seeing this load of bullshit again." and then...
I saw it twice in theaters, it was a good movie, cried a few times, but honestly still think Infinity War was slightly better.
@@bel410la Definitely! I mean, neither made it to my top 5 Marvel movies, but IW was much better in my opinion.
6:55 I love how Dylan didnt realize the names were in alphabetical order
sometimes dylan's mind breaks, it was one of those...😂
Absolutely no one:
Dylan: bUt ThE wHaLeS
Tons of annoying shit in this commentary, but this... this is the one that takes the cake.
Thanos moved moons only with the help of the 6 most powerful objects in the universe. Wanda’s doing the shit all by herself
Preach
a queen, shes the most powerful avenger
She must have crushed Thanos, not just throw him rocks
Where did she get her powers do you think?
@Lulu Chan I think she is an inhuman meaning the powers were with her all along but when the crystals spread through the world they unleashed it ( this story is in marvel agents of shield). I might be wrong so correct me if I am.

i love how he questions things happening in the movie that were discussed and answered like 15 mins beforehand
“He’s gonna be the new Captain America? No way”
🦋**Dylan will regret that statement**
I still cant accept him. I still cant see anyone as captain America except chris evans. I hope they call him captain falcon or something...
@@sathyanarayanay.h.9630 well i think the best way to view it is not as a replacement but as a new edition instead. steve rogers will always be captain america, but now so is sam. it’s just the way life works. the torch will always be passed down to a new generation or a new variation. it’s better to just accept and embrace it. i think sam is gonna make a great captain america
@@robin-un8ry Yeah.. Making John Walker a replacement to Cap, caused all the problems in the first place. If he'd been titled as a new hero as America's new symbol of hope, audience wouldn't have hated him that much
Will he though?
he ain't good for any role tbh
he's so unlikeable

his hate for clint is justified but not for nat lol
"Focus on the war."
Have a heart, Dylan. Tony has been missing Peter for 5 YEARS!
Lauren Brown yeah he literally saw him die and thought he had lost him forever
Carola Kerschbaumer and he was like a son to him.. literally because he met him he wanted a kid 😭
i was like crying and then clapping in the theater
Yeah but still I can see where it was coming from, the thing I was most upset about was just that Dylan didn't show Tom's reaction to Tony's death other than that I didn't really have a problem with it
Dylan: goes to watch the third guardians of the galaxy bc he thinks thor is in it
Dylan three hours later: discovers its the saddest story abt the raccoon and there is no thor
Dylan: Doesn't watch Antman or Captain Marvel
Also Dylan: How does that work!
Fuck captain feminazi
AA omg shut the fuck up. You’re on every damn comment acting like a little whiny bitch.
AA aww did a woman hurt your precious fragile feelings? Do you need to be rocked like the little baby you are?
Well it's not Dylan's fault they need 20 movies to make one good one...and it's not even good lol
stream doom patrol every friday on dc universe that’s real funny coming from a dc fan
Dylan: *doesn't listen when the time travel is being explained*
Also Dylan: but doesn't it mess with the space time continuum?!
Cap america part didnt make sense
AA yeah that one idk, the directors explained it apparently he's from the other time line and he came back from that other time line (why the shield was fixed) but still isn't clear in my opinion
me: binges every marvel movie before watching endgame
dylan: “eh, didn’t look interesting enough for me”
YOU HAVE TO AT LEAST WATCH ANTMAN TO KNOW HOW IT ALL HAPPENS
HONESTLY
Literally tho
I fell asleep halfway through ant man and did just fine
