I was struggling with my SSD and I didn't know where I should look at first, then I realized, and it was sooo obvious after hearing "render"... the ".Render" folder was the problem, of course! I use it all the time... Thank you so much for enlighting my dead lantern (my brain) ! 👍

Thank you so much! This really helped. The real issue was the Proxy folder, which took over 100+ GB space. Clean that up, and you get all your space back.

Check the Media Proxy folder as well I had over 100 gb in that folder that needed to be clean out.
