An after race jockey interview to watch … intelligent chap really appreciating an … unusually talented horse. Try to ignore the dim witted ad interruption.
This horse was once beaten off a handicap mark of 57, in a class 6 handicap at Doncaster. Now three Group 1s in a row? Like a football player being relegated to the Conference South, then ultimately winning the Champions League 3 times.
What a beautiful horse - travels so easily that he has to take a pull when all the others are rowing away like crazy. Only thing that can beat her is a fast 5 as I think she is better over 6 furlongs - actually takes 100 yards to respond then the turbo kicks in.
This run was clearly as good or better than Nature Stripes run at Ascot She beat Mooneista by a bigger margin than Natures Stripe did and overall this was probably a stronger field than the Kings Stand Mooneista has run consistently at the same level all season so a good measuring stick
She ran in the: Prix Maurice - 7th August Nunthorpe - 19th August Then this race on 11th September and the Haydock race was 3rd September, so it is a bit much asking a horse to win two Group 1s in around a week and four in under a month.
I don't normally care much for sprint races but i've watched her progress keenly this season. Her improvement has been staggering.
What a wonderful interview...
She would definitely get my vote for 'Horse of the Year'
Over Baaeed?
The working mans horse of the year
@@natwestrowleymile agreed
@@andrewwilliams4283 Harder to win these sprints than some egg and spoon 8f/10f races against poor opposition.
Crazy to think she was rated 58, gives hope to everyone.

5f in America is going to be a tough ask. Just from race dynamics. I hope she gives Golden Pal a good smack.

She just keeps on improving horse of the year for me
