That Genie Francis eyebrow lift expresses so much emotion. It is so hard to believe that she is only 21 here. She is one of the most amazing actresses ever.
They are amazing... together.. it is just crazy how good they are. The whole is bigger than the sum of it's parts.. and I don't even see how that is possible considering how talented they are individually.
Those L&L scenes were so well-played by TG and GF. The emotions were just right....lots of hesitation, tension, internal panic, insecurity, them still loving each other, but unsure of how the other really felt.....so good! =) Thanks for posting a couple of scenes tonight, Sus, even though you're busy. =)

I stopped watching, when Genie left in 81, watched this lead up to Tony's sendoff / happily ever after. It wasn't till DOOL's 1986 / 87, pairing of Patch & Kayla, complete with a summer on the run of their own, written by the same writers that wrote for Luke & Laura, that I became almost as obsessed with that couple. Steven Nichols, & Marybeth Evans, were also insanely gifted actors with crazy chemistry. Steven Earl Johnson was one of the most complex multilayered characters ever written. As for crazy chemistry, the only couple I can think of from the semi modern era to embody that, was the 2003 /2004 pairing of OLTLs Evangelene & John. Micheal Easton & Renee Elise Goldsberry, they burned up the screen!!
Luke said that Laura was "his woman" a lot too, didn't he? But it was a lot sexier when he said it for some reason. lol ;-) The Cassadines are a wild bunch. lol
Interesting again about GH writers... Stavros goes from a cousin and Helena's pet to a son so that she can claim Nikolas as a Grandson... Like I said the writers don't let past story lines mess with their future ones... they just let certain things slide.

@@taroman7100 if she had drowned, her body would have surfaced. Also, when her necklace was found it was hooked. Someone would’ve had to of taken it off of her and re-hooked it. No memorial service. It was all quite stupid.
