Thanks so much. Mine did the fact same thing on the same contacts. And it’s never spent a day in the rain. I think it’s a defect. This just save me a lot of headache. Again, thanks!

Batteries always melt down and or go dead over night on all the Spectra's I've had. The battery compartment is a pain to open too.

hot/cold=condensation/moisture.Obviously rain will or can cause issues .
