I must admit railgun has some of the most coolest move in the anime history... yet to think how she was so powerless against Accelerator ...
I agree, I know they wanted to make accelerator appear to be in another class of power but they really twisted his power to make it stronger than it should be against Mikasa. He can change velocity, and maybe electricity travelling in the air possibly can be changed but electricity travelling in the ground or conducted along metal definitely doesn't have velocity.( some level of ions and electrons being changed, ie no object/s headed toward him only ionic/electronic changes) I know it might sound like I'm overthinking the battle but I think that should have been a fall back strategy at some point even if they had to rely on Touma to finish him off.
