The draw power of red base is so satisfying and I think it really helps Machinedramon's setup a lot. Fire Ball is the red option I usually see go with it and I've loved it myself. I think the secondary effect of the new Guilmon is a big part of why it is run, digging two cards deeper and possibly taking key cards out of your opponent's deck (if they don't have recursion). I don't personally love the more RNG cards in Machinedramon (at least in my existing build), but I suppose I'll have to try this. I love this build but the clunkiness of needing to see and play the blue tamer to reliably access your Kaiser Nails would give me pause. Ragna is absolutely perfect for the Kaiser build though and I think it's way too awesome not to try to find a way to make these cards work. 18 Ultimates seems like a lot but with red engine's speed and everything it seemed to work out here.
The way I evaluate power in TCGs is consistency and power. If a card does a powerful thing and the deck is able to put the pieces together consistently the deck is probably going to be good. As much as I like the idea of running Ragnalordmon in Machinedramon, its way too swingy in a deck that needs all the help it can get for consistency. I play Deathxmon as my level 7 in Machinedramon cause its pretty back breaking for most decks and you can just digivolve it on top of machinedramon. My main problem with the deck has always been getting flooded with too many options. I have found its better to run fewer, because nothing is worse than a fist full of Machinedramon options and not having a legal discard target. Kyoshiro helps a lot with that cause, play Kyo and now I am not getting punished as badly for playing a stuff that isnt Machinedramon.
New player here, is there a place in the future where Machinedramon is considered a tier 1 or tier 2 deck? Or is this more of a fun type of deck? Asking because I like the deck a lot but have limited investment potential so I am trying to make choice with longevity in mind.
At the moment it is more of a fun deck that can have trouble getting the ball rolling and is pretty draw luck dependent when compared other Digimon tcg decks. However, the new support coming in BT11 and BT12 definitely makes Mashinedramon a Tier 1 contendor. The BT11 Analogman is a dedicated Tamer for the deck and the BT12 Chaosdramon X is a beast of a boss monster once it is on the field. And considering how popular Mashinedramon is as a Digimon in general we should expect new support to keep showing up once in a while.
In my Machinedramon deck I run three black Pride Memory boost! from BT7 It's effect is good because I can reveal 3 cards if, one of the cards is a play cost 4 or less I can bring it out without paying the cost. This is were I think this card is cool if that 4 or less play cost card is Hagurumon bring it out for free trash a machine or cyborg and draw 2 in one turn. Then you have two memory chilling there for when you need it.
You have great content but you gotta stop the thumbnails with your mouth wide open. It’s just that fake influencer click me trope that no one comes to your channel for. Again, love the content

okay, but you could also trash your machinedramons, and that is the absolute worst thing for the deck.
@@Aeivious Yes true but for me the many games I have played I send more lvl 5s to the trash then machinedramon. My build also runs 4 analog youth too.

They can't dedigivolve separate targets with Chaosdramon, it can only dedigivolve one digimon upto three times
