    A model for how to do it right, The Green Legacy Project is focused on conserving 96 hectares (237 acres) of land in Playa Grande, Cabo Velas, Guanacaste, and 55 (135 acres) of which, is threatened, critical forest at the headlands of Guanacaste's 2nd largest estuary, home to rare and endangered species, including howler monkeys, parrots, mangroves, hummingbirds, frogs, leatherback turtles and more.The team consists of members of the Playa Grande ADE (Association of Development Specific to the Environment), the APGS (the Playa Grande Association of Sustainability), the CEO of Wildlife Protection Alliance, Sol Sanctuary, the My Forest Program, and more. We invite you to connect and help us to protect biodiversity, threatened wetlands and ecosystems! Tax-deductible donations can be made by foreigners and Costa Ricans.
