I changed my relationship with food. Over two years I dropped from 185 lbs to 142 lbs, and now I can wear the same size clothes that I wore in college (decades ago) and my blood pressure is down to total normal. I eat strategically once a day, and have been doing this long enough that I only get hungry typically once a day. I eat only food that counts for something. I treat food sort of like medicine now, so that I never have to have medicine for food later.
I exercise twice daily 7 days and started doing OMAD around lunchtime. By the afternoon i'm freaking hungry and end up snacking on 💩 I'm going to change my meal to afternoons so I don't get cravings.
@@somerandomfella I typically do my OMAD at 7:00pm so I don't think about food while going to sleep. I found that cravings that occur during the day go away over time if I don't give in to them. Every time you give in, you give them power. Every time you don't, you lessen their power.

Last year I went off the grid for 6 months. I had no mobile device and I did it over a thousand kilometres away from my home. All I had were myself, a journal, some books and my family. This year I've done nothing but flow with the realisations I made last year. It has been worth it.

TRADITION - The change I'm most proud of is when I took a long look over my past and realized I was winning. The psychological affect of seeing that helped me to move forward instead of languishing over what I thought I lacked. I began to see that maybe the reason why I had some difficulties wasn't because people saw me as less, but because I projected my feelings on these situations. I made myself miserable.
I changed this year, started working out every morning and also want to relocate, changing location and growing stronger.
The best thing I did for myself was move. The change of location helped me triple my income and start a new business.

Change I’m most proud of is my financial literacy. I used to live paycheck to paycheck. Once I was taught the importance of finances, big part in my significant other’s help & advice & living image of good with finances I started to both take finances serious AND budget. No longer living paycheck to paycheck is in my near future.
Tradition! The last 6 months of my life have been a whirlwind of making changes. Alux advice is truly applicable and IT FREAKING WORKS!!! Since April of 2023 till today, i have gone from new hire to director in my non-profit organization! 😮 I have also been working my way through Reinvent Mastery. This is fantastic stuff people! In agreement with everything in the video besides the atheistic view on life. That’s the only place Alux completely loses me.
I’m at the 3:06 mark so I am only going off context of your comment. My guess is they mean people will say “put it in God’s hands” without doing the work themselves or alongside putting it in His hands. I know somebody like this. It’s infuriating. Especially for someone as ambitious as myself. I know what making excuses is. I lived that life. I’m not calling kettle black. With that comes acceptance & understanding I need to do my part if I am to get where I’m supposed to be.

The “im broke because I’m lazy” hits harder than I thought. I always want to do the bare minimum at every job I’ve ever had. Why am I like this??! I’m 30 years old. I dream of the day I don’t ever have a boss yes that is cliche but it’s true this is how I feel
I’ve learned we’re in control of our lives. Blaming others does nothing. I’ve known so many highly intelligent black women who don’t realize how smart they are and how successful they can be if they stop thinking they’re a victim. It’s that mindset that’s oppressive not the world. I think they’re told they’re victims to keep them oppressed.
