Lol no! don't fck the e92 m3 up. I own a e92 m3, full decat with no resonators + xpipe + custom set of mufflers. My down changes are wicked, violent and scary. The job done the v10 just doesn't do it justice

Dont Rev the S85 V10 when it's cold!!! You will get the fatal flaw, the engine needs to warm up and the metal needs to properly expand, or it will get starved of oil and wear prematurely. Fortunately you can do oil testing to check if the rod bearings are going bad. People are afraid to own these V10s, but if properly maintained it will survive. These cars are for serious enthusiasts!

Awesome Bimmer! How do you like the M5? I want to get one to add to my exotic car collections. I have 500 HP Porsche Cayenne Twin Turbo and 400 HP supercharger Jaguar XJR. Adding the V10 BMW M5 looks like fun since it has 500 HP from the stock engine.

I'm wondering how these straight pipe cars pass an emission inspection. Do you guys put the cats back? Anyways I know nothing about how vehicle inspections work in the US. Here in the EU all the vehicles have to undergo a periodic safety and emission inspection.

I have my 07 M6 over 9 years now and that car sounds like it has a blown exhaust now , not good at all ! We have strict emissions on our tests so I wouldn’t get my car certified if it failed emissions without the cats in place. If you want loud exhausts go for the race Eisenmann. The original system is perfect for me not too noisy not too quiet spot on 👍

Why not just install cutouts (dumps) and keep the rest of the exhaust intact? Those CATs do serve a purpose as well as the mufflers.

Why not just get a nice custom exhaust and intake? If you can afford an M6, you can afford a $4k exhaust system. Would sound way better and also keep it legal. Straight piping anything always just makes the car sound like it's a ricer, & an m6 deserves better than that lol and your neighborhood won't hate you for revving 7000 rpm in the middle of the night
