It was insane. The start of TH-cam, when nobody was making money and people were making videos just for fun ! 2008-2012 was insane for Cod. Best gaming experience I've had.

When XFIRE shutdown there was a service you could use to transfer your hours across - I missed that update by a month LOL. Everything was so simple back then. Spending literally hours perfecting one strafejump or bounce, the countless hours on CoD4Jumper

@Swag Zeus I tried from my original CD with original cd key that didnt work.... tried to download it, that didnt work either... at last i tried running it from steam (bought it there) and that didn't work either... tried updating directX etc... nothing changed... I heard about that headset thing, but my problem is that i don't have the old school 3.5mm jack headphones and microphone, but they are both on USB....
@Swag Zeus the problem is I can't even launch the game... As soon as i start the game, the black screen appears for maybe less then 1 sec and it closes instantly... no error or anything to tell me what is wrong 😑

Promod nowadays are not good as they used to be now. Everyone use fullbright, fov 1.5 and some server have turned jump slow down off. Very few servers are simple
