    Saying he isn't good enough is not an excuse I will accept from Xavi, when Lewa was dog water he still played when it was clear he was clearly out of form. Xavi has his favorites and it is clear to me. Xavi's teams mov3 the wall too slow and side to side makes itmeven more frustrating that the press is not close to the best teams.

    Prediction: even if we beat Girona, Xavi is gonna keep playing Lewa, and benching Roque, because Lewa wants the pichichi. A good coach, who’s not scared of his star players, would give Roque the playing time, and challenge Lewa to do better next season when it actually matters

      Lewa also has some in his contract that if he scores 25+ goals p/s barca has to pay 1.2mil to bayern, and he alr has 23 goals this season so??? Wanna see what will happen bcs I don't think barca wanna spend 1.2mil stupidly

    Adaptation for Vitor is the key. He needs time to adapt to a new league, new Language, new system. When Lewandowski was struggling to find Form we brought in Vitor, but since Lewandowski has found form, you can't really replace him. Take the Valencia game we are trying to lock up 2nd place in the League so a bit to play for considering the money we will receive for participation in the Super Cup. Lewandowski got a hat trick, so he's in form, so it's going to be hard to replace him. Hopefully with a full preseason with Barca and more game time next season Vitor can show everyone that 35 million that we paid upfront for him was a steal.
    Also remember the Vini that you see today wasn't the Vini that you seen when he 1st arrived in La Liga. Give Vitor time to shine please. Love the show Dan

    Look it took Vini and Rodrygo about 3 years to adapt and bloom so we need patience. By the way we have not paid anything, the first tranch is due this Summer. When VR arrived RL9 woke up so we could afford to wait and not gamble. Interesting stuff Dan If you are dwelling on the Valencia game, remember that when we come back from a long lay off we don't play great.

    Fermins had a great first season. Expected nothing from him and got a good burst of energy and goals.
    Lamine and cubarsi need a break.
    Aroujo i think he needs to take a breather and think more. Him running up to protest against refs just to get a yellow, his decision making to automatically do these reckless tackles not once but several times. Hes so big he could just run past them and block rhem with his body instead. Ppl say hes a leader and this is my first season watching football and as a culer. I havent seen him be a real leader which i was excited for.
    Frenkies been unlucky injury wise, lewa i wonder if he didnt care until xavi was leaving cuz smth clicked for him.
    Gundogan signing of the season for us playing every minute i hope he doesnt get injured during the euros and gets a break. I hope gavi comes back and improves his game whether or not its the same or different. I hope balde develops to be a defensige lb kyle walker because i feel as though his attacking games to lackluster.
    Raphinhas and ferran have been great despite injuries and not always being starters the entire season.
    Hope and pray pedri stays healthy and fit

    Sorry Dan, I usually agree with a lot of your takes but this one here gets me a bit. I hate the fact both of absolutely disregard the adaptation period needed between Brazilian league and a European one, Vitor has scored on 2 occasions and been lively most of the times he has come on, not every guy will be a neymar, R9, even the likes of raphinha which many people want out, without him we’d be missing out on a lot of goal involvement, there’s absolutely a chance for Vitor Roque to shine but he has to play, training ground and match day are two different things, we talk about haaland etc, haaland is going to score you goals, he’s going to put the ball in the back of the net, and that’s what we need when our backs against the wall, Vitor will provide that, and the rest will come with time but I think this whole topic is ludicrous, why do you think Real Madrid always make it work? Because they give people time and if we can give ferran and Pedro and all these young Spanish players time why can we not have the same energy with South Americans? Barcelona is gonna become a Man Utd in a few years because of our obsession with ‘hitting the ground running’ this man has been here for less than 6 months and when he was in form he got a red card unfairly and was never again given a proper chance, I’m all for xavi in but this is on him because he is a coach for all players not just Spanish ones

    In regards to the whole vitor roque situation , all u have to do is look at ferran , he’s been at the club for 2 and half goddamn years , he’s a shite player he can’t dribble , he’s not fast C he scores once every 3 months , he doesn’t effect the game in any way , BUT Xavi trusts him with his life and he gets chance after chance , that’s wat pisses me off about this situation

    • @avikellerman4539
      @avikellerman4539 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ferran scores a decent amount for the amount of minutes he actually gets. Not to mention he works harder off the ball. I know he's not a world beater. But he's done way more than Roque in European football. I don't care what Roque did in bush league Brazilian football. Where all the players are old or Brazilians who weren't good enough to get moves abroad.
      The fact is Roque has looked poor in the opportunities he's been given. There's rumors that Xavi and the staff don't think he understands even basic football concepts. Roque has done nothing since arriving in Europe. He's not owed a starting spot. You have to seize the opportunity and make yourself the best option if you want regular first team football. He hasn't done that. He's missed chances galore, can't hold the ball up and involve team mates like Lewy...And most worrying for me is he is a short Brazilian striker...But can't seem to dribble past defenders. Even though he's young and should have bags of speed and good dribbling because he's a Brazilian who is shorter. Think of the other short Brazilian strikers like Romario, Gabriel Jesus, Neymar, etc....They can all dribble rings around defenders. Roque is basically a smaller, weaker, less prolific version of Ferran at the moment. I'm extremely disappointed in this transfer so far. The good news is he's only 18 and will obviously improve. But to what degree? We don't know. Hopefully for Barca's sake he's not a total flop though or it's money wasted that we can't afford.

    I still understand why the club sign a €40M wonderkid and not play him

    • @avikellerman4539
      @avikellerman4539 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There isn't much to not understand though. He's not good enough. If he was, he would be playing more often. They thought he would be better than he is. Apparently there's rumors that he's not understanding very basic football concepts and that's why Xavi and the staff don't fancy him. I've seen him play numerous times this season and wasn't very impressed. His 2-3 goals were nothing special and he squandered many very good chances. He also doesn't seem to have the ability to dribble past defenders which you would expect from a shorter Brazilian striker.
      He's still young though, and hopefully keeps improving and will be ready in the near future. But the manager has to put out the strongest line up available and secure results. Xavi isn't there to make sure Roque has a great career. He's there to get wins and make sure the club wins every match possible, by whatever means he deems best.

      @@elhachem3625 Roque isn't Julian Alvarez. There's a difference. Julian Alvarez would be a starter for like every club in the world with the exception of maybe 4-5 clubs. Roque wouldn't. Idk what you people are on with this Roque. He's literally a prospect who hasn't done ANYTHING in Europe. And when he's played he hasn't impressed. Out of the 11 appearances maybe 2 were good displays. The other 9 he ghosted or missed easy chances. Yet you guys act like Xavi is keeping prime R9 on the bench. And Roque is also very young he will still get plenty of chances. No inexperienced 18 year old is entitled to play regular football at Barcelona. Yamal and Cubarsi are different because they're actually playing at a very high level, and there was a clear need in the squad because we have no wingers other than Raphina and our defense was horrible. If Cubarsi was playing poorly he would have made a few appearances then Xavi would have removed him from the team. It's bad enough we have to play with some many young kids as it is. It's why we didn't win anything this year. You guys are delusional. You seem to think the more 16, 17 and 18 year olds we play....The better we'll be lol If you want kids football watch the under 18s and La Masia. Roque isn't better than Lewandowski as of right now that's why he's not playing ahead of him. It's simple. Doesn't matter if he was good in Brazilian league because Brazilian league is different and not as high level as La Liga or UCL. Be patient. He'll get his chances in the coming seasons. He's still just a kid.

      That's what I am saying Julian Alvarez will start for every club except Barca cause the coach had a fetish to start a 36 year old since the coach preferred Ferran Torres over Julian Alvarez when both player got offered by Alemany and Jordi Cruyff you misunderstood my point which was Xavi had favouritism over some mediocre players and still I stand with my words here I am not defending Roque my concern is he never bash his mediocre players he always defend them but for Roque he change his stance and throw him down the bus

    If Roque doesn’t perform then it’s Xavi mismanagement as shown previously with many players. You approve a purchase of player for a team that’s has not a lot of money to spend and then destroy him emotionally and then bring him in to develop as you say. On the other hand , you lewa playing game after game while not performing and not scoring for so many games. Xavi is just bringing players with specific profile and then asking them to do something not in their bag . See for example Rafinha , he is not someone who is going to take players one to one and not the typical wide winger but you still approve his purchase with 60 plus million then you ask him to do things not in his profile and then put him on the bench and play Dembele. Can’t understand Xavi .
