I'm so late to this, but literally discovered synthwave yesterday and all of your mixes are freaking amazing! I've been listening while writing, the mood of these is so easy to get swept up in and it's lovely. Keep up the awesomeness!
I love this mix. I noticed that some compilers/dj's dont really understand the difference between the various synth genre's but this is proper chillwave

@@RadRogue1 It's about an alien race that is controlling other planets as experimental projects. Earth is one of them. I'm already 120k words in, so it should be finished in a few more months hopefully ;)
@@RadRogue1 haha I don't think it's going to be successful or anything (gotta keep those expectations low :D ), but it's amazing what one can do when you really set your mind to it. It's called "The Mendren Chronicles - The Seventh Cycle" and I plan on it being the first part of a trilogy. Who knows, maybe you'll hear about it later this year but probably not ;)

Anyone willing to help an amateur properly genre their music? I was inspired by TH-cam mixes like this and somehow ended up with three collections of music that I'm not confident slapping a genre on. Cheers! And big cheers to Astral Throb for the unrelenting synth/chillwave community service.
