Mom insists he continues working to support her. She should get a job.

You mean to tell me that this so- called mother is blaming her son who was only 7 years old at that time, for her husband's death!? What a witch!!🧟‍♀

The voices on this video are horrible. The mom was verbally, mentally and emotionally abusive to Brandon for no reason. The fact that she blamed a 7 yr for his father's death was insane. She also had audacity to call her son after 3 years once she learned he may be well off asking for money. Then he says no and then calls him a brat. Narcissist. She got what she deserved. Thanks to Martin and his parents for taking Brandon in.

This is ridiculous. If you ended up hospitalized the high school would have let you take the exams upon your being released from the hospital.

You are in college - do what you need to do for yourself - you no longer need parents permission. Spoke too soon - did not realize he was still in high school!

Blaming a child for a death that he or she wasn't the cause of and the parent that is left treating the child like shit shouldn't be a parent after the death of the other parent. Drinking your life away and having your child support that bad habit it is not their responsibility to buy your booze for you are to support you in anyway. Lousy parents shouldn't have their chilren work themselfves to death to support their parents.

He cant start Colledge but 3 years later he is a CEO? ... PLEASE!
But otherwise it was a very good story! A new one! 😊

Fortunately, I had supportive parents who helped me with going to college. Well Brandon certainly did well for himself in 3 years! Take a hike “mom”. But of course there had to be a CEO in the story.

The funniest part of this video is the Bill Engvall moment. Did Martin really ask him if he’s awake? Brandon text him right after waking up in the hospital and he seriously asked him if he’s awake. Really?😊😂 His mother has two faces and is a gold digger. How can she call herself his mother after everything she put him through? How can she blame him for that terrible accident that happened to his father? Kids are very impulsive and they don’t really think things through. I’m sure Brandon just wanted to help his father get the ball back. I don’t think he’s at fault for what happened, besides he has to live with that image of his father being hit by the truck. Not once did his mother or any of his family members try to get him some therapy for his trauma. I’m sure he must have had nightmares about the incident, let alone the possibility of him having PTSD. I think his family failed him. Just my opinion.

Only four or five tropes allowed here. This is: Parents treat child like shit. Child becomes Elon Musk. Parents want their due share. Kid says, do be a good twat and sod off. There, now you don't have to read this fecal nugget, you're welcome.
