in my opinion CBBC was the stronger brand compared to CITV by 2005, with the exception of My Parents Are Aliens, Jungle Run, and MoM the brand was dead in the water, that being said CITV was in the middle of a budget cut which began in 2001. Being 11 at the time I could tell the difference in quality for both brands.
A very obvious difference yes. CITV's decline was gradual, though save for around the late 90s, they'd never been as consistent on the presentation side compared to CBBC. Then again MPAA should have ended after "Thanks For The Earthworm Custard"

This was the era when cbbc was really pumping out live shows, dick and dom, smile, uk top 40, top of the pops, they probably was doing xchange aswell,
The only thing i learnt from this video is that there was more effort into programming and live stuff
