- In this episode, we explore the Cairns region and take a day trip on the Kuranda Skyrail over the rainforest to the mountain town of Kuranda and return back to Cairns via the scenic railway. We show you around the town, sights to see and things to do.
We enjoy part-time van life and traveling in our Jimny, creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) on Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla. In our episodes we stay at free and paid campsites, showing our tips and tricks for making life on the road easier and more fun. We also treat ourselves to the odd AirBnB. You done a spectacular job on this video. What a gorgeous location. I love the market, train showing the best on offer. Kangaroo, water buffalo, goat are pretty good, very tender, no fat. Croc pretty chewy.

I’d so love to do that ride but hell I can’t do heights, I did one in Germany, oh boy terrifying, I closed my eyes all the way up and all the way down, so beautiful I love the rain forests. Aren’t those vines crawling between the trees called strangle vines? I’m no expert I just think I heard that somewhere. No sorry I couldn’t do that walk far to high fir me, and that see through path. NO. Beautiful guys thanks for taking us along, best part is now I’ve seen it so I’ll never have to do it. LOL. See you soon, take care and cuddles for Twiler. 🥰

. To be honest Deano we don’t like Queensland, it’s to hot, we’re cold weather people. I did tell the girl on that other channel what you did but she’s building her home BY HERSELF, I suspect it will be some time before she goes anywhere.
Great episode, train ride would have been awesome. How many stops where there do you remember?
You only do the one stop down which is saw in the episode, but when you get to the second waterfall, the train slows right down to give you plenty of time to get your photos and videos all in all it was a fantastic experience and they give you an information sheet about history of the train track and the train. Hi Karen, Laura and Rob are heading south towards the Gold Coast and we were heading inland down the Queensland Inland Hwy. To be honest, we had to drive some of my mother's personal possessions back home to Melbourne as she passed away and she lived in Qld. We thought to make the most of it and get a van back down. Hope you enjoyed the episode. Adam
