A great video, thanks. I used to live in Embrook, which was separated from Wokingham by fields, from 1950 to 1962, before the great building blitz. I will always remember 1957(?) when Mitchell escaped while i was at school and we all had to go home on a coach with a policeman with a rifle.
The sad thing is, when you think about it, these sirens are giant cuckoo clocks, warning the surrounding towns that... THE CUCKOOS HAVE ESCAPED! CUUUUUUUUUCkoooooooooo CUUUUUUUUUCkoooooooooo! All joking aside, the sound of these things makes me cry. Because like i said before, a patient could be lost somewhere, cold, and terrified.
+Wolf O'Donnel Well, right now "in my experience" I'd say only half are actually working. I do still go to a few of them and I seem to be wasting my time as when I go to record them, I can hear a siren from miles away but the one I went to film didn't work! I would say that there are more and more faults and they are just waiting to decommission the whole lot just as soon as the new hospital is opened in about 2019. Having said that, the sirens are operational.

By the looks of it the top box on the left is the motor contactor, box on the right houses contactos for the shutters.
Chay reminds me of my little sister so much

"Navigating to Farts"
uhmmmm where in the video was that? lol
I thought Chay said "your farts" to the sat nav at 9:43 so I thought of the sat nav just saying "navigating to farts" Siri style.
Sekomak. Hmmm....
