I've seen both Ultimate spiderman and Spectacular spiderman I enjoyed both shows despite the stuff people say about ultimate. In terms of up to date animation I'd have to lean towards Ultimate's animation style, never was the biggest fan of how some of the animation looked in Spectacular, in terms of story in both shows I like both in their different rights same with action and voice acting, Ultimate spiderman was made to be different to Spectacular Spiderman or any other adaptation before spectacular, the idea of spidey having a team consisting of White tiger, Luke Cage/Power man, Iron fist and Nova actually interested me when I first saw the show. Both shows are different in their own way they weren't made to be compared to one another, so die hard Spectacular spiderman fans I understand you may prefer Spectacular spiderman then Ultimate spiderman fair enough, but there are some who enjoy Ultimate spiderman so please stop trying to come to almost every ultimate spiderman comment section just to try being overwhelming jerks
