the only non-whirlpool owned straight vane maytag washer i knew about until now was the maytag dependable care washer; it uses faster strokes but the agitator is designed to agitate that fast, so it doesn't tear up anything
Nice machine, been wanting to see this one in action for a while now, could either you or Eliot please film the Maytag Dependable Care with the electric drain pump that doesn’t do a spin drain when one of you have time?
@@Smurdle450 Oh good to know. I can see it looks like the Norge agitator design . At the time these were the Norge platform I believe. I don't remember seeing these agitators though. Cool!
I found out that they actually still make the Maytag performa washing machines but they only make them in Mexico and they run on 240 volts only last time i checked.
It’s good to have a variety of machines but not essential. Just start filming the various cycles of the machine you are currently using. If you have access to a friends or family members washer that might be different from yours then politely ask if they mind u filming it. There will generally always be someone interested in the content and it won’t take off straight away but will gradually build up. That’s what I have found anyway.
Thanks alot I've been watching you and shakeralover4ever for many years now and have loved all your machines especially the Electrolux ultra silencer 6 KG which was the machine I had as a kid and now have the bosch washing machine but am still missing the electrolux and am really happy you could give me some advice

The agitation reminds me of the older speed queen washers from the late 1980s or early 1990s

Sure that will probably be getting a run through in a few weeks
What a cool agitator. I don't think we ever had those agitators on any of the US models.
There were a few freaky models in the US that had this straight vane agitator, I've come across a decent number of them on second hand websites.

@@patcola7335You're right; every one of those Maytag Performa washers I saw back in the day had a dual action agitator.
They Were On The Magic Chef Washers Back Then
Ihave one built by Norge purchased in 97 still runs like new . They have a self cleaning lint filter.

ugh, in my previous comment on this video i didn't think about the maytag washers that have a teal agitator; those are straight vane models too
Back when maytag was awesome
I'd like to see it on regular at oversized capacity with laundry detergent and fabric softener. Happy new year btw.
That’s also what this video is just missing the fabric softener
This washer will make good ASMR. I also like when people tap on the machine with their fingers.@@mattie17
That maytag is made by norge
Yep! Back when maytag owned norge via magic chef!
I wish maytag would have kept this design instead of the whirltag HE design
I Think On This One You Can Change The Agitator Top From Straight Vane To Dual Action And Back
Will there ever be lg ezDispense again I miss it if you can do a sudsy turbowash 39 cycle please.
I've been trying to find a video of this type of Agitator in a washing machine for a while. Is it possible for you to post more videos of this one?
@@devontajohnson381 sure it’s away in storage atm but I can dig it out again in a couple of months and film it again
😊
I like! I'd love to hear it on the full load on normal speed.
That’s what this video is??
Very nice ❤
What is the model number please thanks
My grandma had a similar style washing machine but it was branded as crosley
What's your advice on starting a washer and dryer TH-cam channel
