TWICE's latest albums are aimed at overseas markets, and TWICE's early songs are mostly aimed at Korea, so it's fun to listen to them because they have very different music styles and various types. I personally like songs from the latest albums more, but there are many hidden masterpieces in the old albums.

Twice is very intentional in their musical and concept progression. You’re basically watching aka listening to them grow up as a teen to a young adult woman. It’s truly profound to see their growth as artists and as women. This is what makes their entire discography and journey so unique. There is no group like them and likely never will be.
I feel like watching them grow up is going to be emotional for me 😅

I'm just here for the feels. I wanna see people experience their music for the first time. I cannot explain music to anyone, I sort of just feel them. So if ever I'm one of those fans that's constantly recommending Twice to others, it's definitely because I can't explain it, but I just feel great listening to and knowing them, and I wanna spread that feeling. ❤❤

i've just watched until the first three songs and i'd like to suggest watching their performances for these songs in their predebut show Sixteen if you love Jeongyeon's voice(i definitely do, never imagined myself getting into big name group in all the years i been into kpop but Jeongyeon single handedly did it for me n her voice/vocals played a big part though there are so many other factors too). Jeongyeon had significantly more n longer parts than in these version especially for Truth, she also performed in Do It Again(which is the only song out of the first three songs in which all members performed in Sixteen since I Think I'm Crazy and Truth were songs divided to the two teams of six during the finale and Jeongyeon was in the team who performed Truth. anyway, Sixteen was a very fun watch, whether to a fan or non fan who has some interest in them. especially for me who got kinda into Twice because of Jeongyeon, since the show was the ultrarare occasion where she got the lines and recognition she deserved. also, the performances on Sixteen were live for most parts so no overproduction and you can focus on their vocals.

29:56 ohh because in the early days before sixteen era jeongyeon, nayeon, and jihyo is about to debut in 6MIX but unfortunately it got cancelled and some facts about the rap part jeongyeon is listed rapper in 6MIX, like it was crazy they listed her rapper but her voice is powerful.
Could you imagine that a rapper that can rap well and have powerful voice.
TMI: And SANA is about to be add in 6mix because of the two members who left the group but the plan got cancelled because of the broadcast of Sixteen.

Mind you this is their debut album like... i really felt something shift when it dropped. For the longest time they were incredibly underrated and oddly enough they somehow still are in many ways (as in their talent is understated, if not overlooked). Feel free to check for possible writing credits etc. prior to reacting to an album if that's something you're curious about. Some context and some thoughts:
- Do It Again was the final mission in SIXTEEN and both teams had to perform it back to back. It's now the intro to most Time To Twice seasons too. I personally love their earlier songs but i also have the performances' energy in mind which can help sometimes (as happens with a lot of kpop) and Do It Again is a perfect exemple of that, so it's interesting you immediately felt like seeing a live performance of it. The song's great imo and you can tell it's hype but having all that in mind gives it kind of an insane drive.. idk how to explain but you get it 😭
- the mission right before that had one team sing Going Crazy and the other sing Truth, each team was assigned the song they were probably gonna be the worst at. Both songs were pretty challenging bc the vocal delivery/rhythms and instrumentals were a bit counterintuitive. The one doing the little vocalizations at the beginning of Truth is Mina
- In a way this album really lives up to its name as the main songs on it are them revisiting their last stretch on the show but as the final lineup, with a new Title Track and a couple of new Bsides

Tzuyu is always the hardest for new fans to pronounce. It's simply Chewy (when I was new I remembered it as like the type of texture). Hope this helps!

미쳤나봐 is directly translated to I Think I'm Crazy or I must be crazy in English which is the original title of the song before it was replaced with Going Crazy in the digital platforms... Maybe because this song was originally a song from SIXTEEN and was just renamed after Twice finally performed it as their own...

Please don't take my words to heart, but I want to tell you something about pausing at the right time. I know you are reacting, and you need to pause, but the best way to tell your thoughts is to let the part fully finish before pausing it to say something. You miss most things if you keep pausing in between the parts. For example, you literally paused in the middle of one of the best adlib by Jihyo in Truth. Let it fully finish and enjoy the adlib in full, and then pause and tell us your thoughts. I know I am not anyone to tell you how to enjoy and react to your music, but if you love the music that much, I think you will know where I am coming from and want to say.
Rest, enjoy the dives into some of the best music you will ever hear.

I appreciate you being polite about this as not every one is. I try my best to let parts play out before pausing and to rewind after pausing so I don't entirely mess with the flow of the song. But I'm also neurodivergent so I pause when I need to so I don't get overwhelmed. It's never going to be perfect and I'm sorry if I missed something but I do try my best. Twice isn't the most popular but it's the best when it comes to music and Twice's b sides are the best for sure.
It's true that popularity doesn't always equal quality but there are so many amazing groups out there making some of my favourite music 🥰
@@AntiSocialPlanet Mamamoo type that was a group that I accompanied before meeting Twice and in the case of male groups I did not accompany.
Early stuff for me is definitely a mixed bag (There are still a lot of songs I like though), Yes or Yes and Fancy is where it really picks up for me. As for this album Ooh-Aah and Truth are definitely the stand outs. The rest are mixed especially Candy Boy being the weakest. Not a bad start but nowhere near the best. The next album is actually my least favorite.
I find it kind of reassuring that their first couple albums are the weakest because that means they only get better and I'm here for that ride 🔥

a lot of pauses. Maybe you should listen to these songs without pausing, with that you can find another things in these songs more interesting. It's just my opinion but I love your reaction and thoughts about Twice's music.
