It was good to see you guys there, really nice to chat etc. It was only the 2nd time I've raced my frontie at this track, and I had such a good time, had some cracking racing with q few people. The track layout was superb, the standard of racing was excellent, and I cannot wait to go again. Oh, and I'm going to give the EWS a try at the end of the year, along with my nephew and a couple of my mates👍👍
Great Video, you should see if you can get along to the EARCC in Norwich, another large circuit indoor touring car club. I have been over a couple of times (couple of videos on my channel if you want some sort of idea of how their track runs). I like you struggle multi discipline, i am more of a crawler driver to be fair...
Looking good guys, LMP is probably the best class for improving driving and reactions but it depends on numbers at your local club, no point in running it on your own. Better see you guys at Bedworth in the summer this year 😜. We are the biggest outdoor TC club in the country, we have also added a Tamiya TT-01/2 Sport class for our summer series, rules can be found on the web site, we aren't allowing any home made mods or expensive TRF parts and keeping it brushed with lipo and realistic TC, DTM and GT bodies
Great video guys, big fan of your channel. If you have any tips on where to buy a 'Harry' transponder that would be much appreciated. All ready to race apart from that.
Notice you guys improving at the club. In both classes of A finalist, we have at some point been at the top end at national level. Feel free to ask questions. Always put your car on the racing line before driving. The track 😉. Best of luck with your progression 👍🏻
Love watching your videos my son and I went to a local club finally to see what it’s all about. We are hoping in a few weeks to take a couple of cars to have ago. Just want to say your a inspiration.
They are an affordable alternative to the top spec factory teams and hope our videos show that they are very drivable cars. More than enough adjustments for a beginner to learn the hobby Also the spares are a fraction of the price of the top brands.
USA Jim here I've watched all your different disiplines of racing wish I was half as good
you WOW so smooth
Thanks for those kind words Jim👍
Very good race footage. Great video as always from the Popalong Race team
Cheers Blue..

Sounds amazing
We will be sure to Popalong this summer
We will have to get it pencilled in as the diary is booking up fast …
When are you planning on going down to Adur? It is my local track and i want to get back into racing soon would love to see you guys race!
Happy for you to see us race… but we do not claim to be the best drivers in the world, just passionate about the hobby and wanting to see it grow

Harry?
@@PopalongRC Yeah, according to DMS racing I need an AMB branded 'Harry' transponder, from BBK software. I'm having no luck getting one.

I’m sure there are cheaper options

What gearing do you guys run in your tt02 when racing?
Tend to run Tt01 with 58/24 not sure what the equivalent is on TT02
@@PopalongRC thanks
Why don’t you go to CMCRC in Ipswich they have a 1:10 touring car track and 1:10 buggy’s
Another track that we want to visit.. it is a few hour drive for us though. So needs a little more planning.

Thanks Matthew, all the little things add up to faster lap times … thanks for your comments

@@PopalongRC we are looking at team powers beginners cars for our next ones. Would that be a good starting point
