Embossing 2 Ways | Terrific Tags with Michelle

- Hey there, crafty friends! Have you tried combining different types of embossing? Michelle Short here, dropping by to inspire you with a card making video tutorial on how to enhance dry embossing with embossing powder.
After embossing my tag with the Silk Art 3D Embossing Folder, I enhanced it using it Pigment Inks. I then added Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder for a gilded look. The tag was finished off with a heat embossed sentiment.

What a gorgeous tag - fantastic color combination, and I love the way you artfully applied the embossing powder, Michelle!
Stunning tag! The rose gold powder looks fabulous over the blue embossed section. And the copper jewls are the perfect embellishment. Great video as always Michelle!

Hello Michelle. The color combination of a black base paired w/blue highlights of the dry embossed flower made this tag a wow tag. I love the guiding w/the rose gold. You have inspired me to try this technique. Thank you.
I love the deep blue on the embossed part of the black background - it really stands out and then the rose gold embossing powder just adds to the level of stunning!!!

@Altenew • Michelle: This tag is gorgeous. I was leaning toward silver instead of the blue but when you added the rose gold embossing powder, I realized your blues were the right choice.
The rose gold embossing powder was just enough to make the image pop without being overwhelming.
I also like your attention to detail . . . blackening the edges of the foam tape.
This definitely is worth being a card, not just a tag. 👍

wow this is stunning. I am going to try this, and I think I need those 3 little brushes to use with embossing in, I just got those gorgeous pigment inks so this will be my first project with them.... tfs
