I know you posted this several years ago, but I just found it. So glad I did. The content of the page really speaks to me right now. Exactly what I needed. ❤️
All I can say is WOW! I love watching you create these beautiful works of art! I get inspired by each one! Thank you! Much love from Northern California!
Absolutely love it. I'm love how when you colour around the subjects with black and then blend them with your finger. They pop off the page. It's magic. Thanks so much Marta I just love watching your videos. I'm a happy bunny xxxxx
Hi Maremi! Thanks so much for taking the time to post these tutorials. I am sharing them with my dear Mom who really needs a creative outlet! I am looking for easy nonstressful ways for her to get started and using an old book is perfect! Plus the text creates beautiful backgrounds!
What can I say that I haven't said after watching your other videos. Wow, girl...If I only had some of the talent you have. Thanks for sharing your heART.
I love the way you use an actual book as the art journal. Way to upcycle. Going to the basement now to look through my giveaway box for a book to use. Love your page!
Thanks for reposting this. It's been awhile since I've seen it. I love these stamps. Maybe I'll take the afternoon break and go for it! Have a good one!
wonderful! I make my own tissue papers as well and I love the way you can customize your own like that. your work is always so pretty, small details creating a wonderful outcome every time! you have a great eye for color.
I love your creations Marta, and I always forget to mention in my comments, how watching a "leftie," always makes more sense to me. Even though, I write beautifully with my right hand, (when I was 7, my mom had me learn to write with my right hand , so my compositions weren't always smeared,) art and math always has to be done with my left. Honestly, watching you work with different media, really clicks better. Funny, huh?
Impressive Marta, I love it you've made an amazing work with this new stamps sets can't wait to see you're next video, I'm a addict now lol thanks for sharing xo
Great job again Marta! 👍 I always love how you are able to leave some withe space. I try it time after time but somehow I always end up covering the whole page. Thank you for sharing your creativity! Hugs, Astrid 😊
Love how this turned out. wonderful tutorial. I have a question. How do you decide when to seal your pages once they're done? Did you seal this page? If so, with what? TFS
I love your work, & the water drips are sooooo cool looking! I’m always learning with you. Thank you so much. P.s. missed your voice, but I still liked the music you chose.
This is amazing. What a great idea to stamp the tissue like that. I wasn't able to see what the paints were---can you share the info on them? Thank you!!
Patricia Romboletti hi Patricia, thank you for watching and your kind words ! Those are Finnabair mica powders from Prima Marketing. You can use the powder directly from the jar on your projects, you can mix it with some texture paste... you can mix it with paints, gesso or even make your own sprays :) Sending you creative hugs, Marta xx
I saw this on giveaway post & this was one of my favourite stamp sets (although hadn't realised from those pics that they came together, the head one was on it's own). Anyway, back to you. Another wonderful page, I really enjoy stamping onto kitchen towel so must try tissue ppr. Using mica powders this way gives such vibrancy! Of course your finishing touches with white & black make all the difference. I wanted to ask after your last video, why Posca over Faber Castel white? Is it just to make it pop more? Obviously NEED these stamps. Yesterday I worked out approximately the cost if I bought all Finnabair stamps that I like..... Nearly £90?! Hmmm. I don't think so. You are so lucky to have them. Maybe one day I will visit Ireland & we can have a day of crafty play. DON'T PANIC ~ Only kidding! Lol... You know I hugely admire your projects, Marta. Looking forward to what's next. Tk great care. C😉
I want to use your technique. I have napkins, not tissue paper. Can I stamp on napkins? I use the top layer of napkins for collaging so it would be nice to find a use for the layers that are left.
OrionsGirl93 it does curl sometimes, if it happens I use paper clips. Also if I use the old book pages I stick two or three together and it helps to prevent from curling. Marta x
I love what you created!! Amazing! And, how cool is it that you're journaling in an old book? I wish I'd thought of that before I spent a ridiculous amount of money for a journal I just had to have, which has already fallen apart. I only bought it because I like the artist. Live and learn ;-) Thanks so much for sharing your technique!
Lovely. I've used a homemade gesso on a couple of out-of-date Uni newsletters (like a small firm magazine) I got the recipe online. There are a few different ones - the one I used had water-based acrylic wall paint, plaster of Paris, white glue and water. The texture is slightly dry but it covers the print quickly and cheaply....good for playing around on. Other recipes may have a finer texture but I haven't tried those yet. Thanks for the ideas.
Interesting technique with beautiful results, but a very frustrating video. It would be very helpful if you either paused the video for a moment each time you do something different and show what your supplies were, or show the name on the screen, please. I'm very new to this whole type of art, and don't have a clue what you'd use for each desired result. Thank you!
hello, thank you for your comment. this is super old video of mine... i used to do videos differently than now. I hope you will enjoy my current videos, where i chat about the products and show them properly. :)
Maremi SmallArt, Thank you for replying! Yes, I realized that your newer videos are better. Can you possibly give me a list of products you used in the order you used them? Thank you!
Gplease, the music is awful. You have to get better music. It was so bad I could barely write this, distracting. I couldn't concentrate on what you were doing or had done, I was so upset with the. How else of music. Get rid of it. 😜
Since I'm a beginner, it's nice for me to watch the older videos sometimes. This one is a good one for me!
I'm so glad you talk in your videos now as you can be quite amusing!

This is amazing. What a great idea to stamp the tissue like that. I wasn't able to see what the paints were---can you share the info on them? Thank you!!

Quick question.. .. how do you seal the gel crayons from rubbing off or smearing?
spray fixative
I want to use your technique. I have napkins, not tissue paper. Can I stamp on napkins? I use the top layer of napkins for collaging so it would be nice to find a use for the layers that are left.
try :) that is the best way to learn
May Loo - yes, absolutely you can use the blank layers like this. :-) Can use those instead of the tissue paper and get very similar result.
Stunning page, think I might need to purchase those stamps, and it will be your fault! :P
Thank you
Way cool. 😃💖
How does your paper not curl up?
OrionsGirl93 it does curl sometimes, if it happens I use paper clips. Also if I use the old book pages I stick two or three together and it helps to prevent from curling. Marta x

+C Webber you are more than welcome ! It's great to have both - real art journal and old books ! I love the smell of old books :)
