I know a lot of dots can be annoying, but setting the markers above the tractor instead of ground level helps me a ton when creating/editing AD courses.
Thank you for this series. A great look into rcr stuff. I absolutely love the look of rcr but I don’t think the game is quite ready for it. Your struggles have proved to me that I don’t have the computer to run it.
Thanks for all your great vids!
There are 2 settings in autodrive that I always change. The first one is the Corner Speed on each vehicle (I use like 50-60% speed) and there is the collision setting (I use the FS22 option) that solved my problems with the train gates. Great videos, as always. 👍
Great tips I'll definitely check out the collision setting and see if it helps!
I’ve always had issues with the collision detection. Did they improve it in later versions? Lowering corner speed I always do too.
On some maps you have to turn collision detection off. On Spring Creek for instance it would usually take forever for your vehicle to make it to destination because steep enough hills and uneven pavement can look like a collision to AD.
Kederk! Glad to see another video, really starting to enjoy this series!
Great video. I would love to see a drill for realism. 30 inch beans are quite uncommon. Rye is like winter wheat.
We always did 30 inch beans "back in the day" when I farmed in southern MN but it was certainly a different time then. I think doing a mix is going to help our framerates and let us tackle more fields. :)
@@KederkFarms Interesting. I guess I lived in southwestern Ontario. We always drilled beans because they were most productive then. A mix will be interesting.
@@KederkFarms all the beans I see in Iowa are some variation of row crop. It is because there isn’t enough profit in soybeans to justify getting a drill that can cover the same acres a hour a planter can. And this year our row crop beans went 65 avg a acre
Just park your cultivator outside. Farmers don't waste shed space on tillage equipment.
good video! what are the arrows for in the fields? there are several of them in one field.
I do think it be intresting to do a farm with all older big equipment like cade IH 9330 JD 8970 Steiger Tiger IV KP 525
What version of course play did you use for this series
Sorry if I missed it, but did you also edit sell points for dry corn? I followed your instructions for the row crop beans and it worked great. I just can't find a place to sell dry corn. Also, you should try the enhanced loan system mod, it gives you a calculated monthly payment with interest. Really enjoying this series.
Looks like Youre possibly using the “anhydrous ready precision farming” mod. There are known problems with it because it hasn’t been updated in a long time. Youre better off using regular precision farming, and the anhydrous addon mod. They work perfectly together
Thanks, I suspected that was the culprit. Wondered if anhydrous addon would work with PF. I was using the ARPF because that's what was recommended by the map author
@@KederkFarms no problem! I had the same problems until I switched to regular PF and the addon.
Where are the buildings are ready on the map when you loaded it up for the first time or did you have to put the buildings on the map?
There is a separate download for all of the buildings on this map. Check out a map review vid and there should be a link to it.
Be prepared, it’s a big file! About 1.5 G
I have the map in my mods folder but it won’t show up in game, does anyone know how to fix that?
For some reason the map does not allow me to play alfalfa
Let’s see a large pig farm
You left that nice expensive header out in the snow!
It doesn't flex properly. I would leave it to rust and get a better mod 😂
😀@@MidwestFarmToys
Yeah I need to find a good spot to store it. Probably need to brush off my farm building skills and get some more buildings put down. I need something I can pull through ideally. :)
The frame rates is what got me to give up on rhe map.i had lower then you do but then i am on q mid range laptop gaming machine too.
