Max, this is one of the best examples of a four square you've ever shown. It is so simple, yet elegant and airy. The renovation that was done is perfect, because although updated, it never loses sight of what it is. Too many times people (especially younger buyers), tend to go too modern with a redo, and lose sight of what the house is. I love what they did with this one. Thanks for showing us!
Hi. I'm from India and I just love watching your videos. They are so informative and interesting. Here in India homes are so different and owning a home is really difficult.. you're doing a great job.
The houses in this neighborhood look similar, but this home is awesome! They did an excellent job renovating this home. The basement is ready to be finished up and would be ideal for conversion into some recreational areas. The wood flooring on the second storey is amazing, the home has a lot of storage space and living area. You rarely see many closets in older homes, nor do you often see more than one bathroom in older houses! This one is a jewel
Nice renovation The Barn Door on the master is nice. the barn door on the master is nice. That looks more like a cellar then a basement. However for that price that's cellar should have been completely renovated.
Wow. I’m looking to buy an all brick colonial layout just like this one. It was built in 1922. I may renovate mine exactly like this once since it’s practically the same house and layout. Mine is in Phillipsburg, NJ. How much was this Reno? And where’s the attic coverage. You can see from the two windows at the top of the building that there’s an attic. Mine has those as well. Access is through one of the bedrooms in mine but I don’t see any in this one... but i LOVED this home here. I’ll most likely renovate the same way 😂
Hello ! I unfortunately don't know how much the renovation cost. There is typically an access panel for attic access so it is not ideal for storage. Contractors often put 1 of the 2 zones HVAC in the attic. Best wishes with your renovation and thanks for watching !
Anyone know how much it would cost to renovate a non-functional fireplace into a functioning wood burning fireplace in the RVA area? I can't imagine owning a nice historic home and not have a functioning fireplace.
It actually is a gas log fireplace that now functions. My statement was not 100% correct. When it was built, it was used for coal. Coal fireplaces are very shallow and not suitable for wood burning. The vast majority of them in the area don't function at all. I am not sure about the cost for convert to wood burning. A gas conversion is much cheaper however. Thanks for watching !
Hello ! I have experience with VA loans personally and with my clients. It is a great product for homes in good repair. It does not work well with homes that need TLC. Please give me a call and I can go into more detail. THANKS Max 804.402.7788

Max Williams that’s what I thought. It’s probably a pull down access. Keep the videos coming! This one was super awesome. New subbie here. 💯☺️
Very beautiful home, but that basement looks creepy.
