This is probably my favourite take on Courtney. She's stuck up and a bit of a show off, but she's not literally attacking everyone and being dragged through the mud.

I must confess that despite not being a fan of Courtney, I find her to be quite likable here. She exudes confidence without being confrontational and maintains a courteous and polite demeanor. It's a shame that this version of Courtney isn't showcased in the show. Regardless, I admire her character here. Plus. she remains pretty and possesses a lovely voice.
Imagine what if Courtney is in Jeopardy? How will she perform if she's smart. Any other characters (in any franchise) that are like they're in Jeopardy?
I mean, I get why they didn’t, but maybe they could’ve lied and gave the prize to the kid who got the highest place behind the scenes. It would’ve made it a more interesting watch, even if it adds a little bit more staging suspicion(which is already there anyway, might as well)
