You can use an airbrush when erasing in ibis paint
And you can also lower the opacity

@@nmn-vn2zp liquify is useful if you want to make a area less or more fat without erasing it so that’s why getting a app with liquify really helps
For IbisPaint: If you go to the eraser and then change the brush to a airbrush or anything else, it erases in that brush
The only thing creeping me out in ibispaint is the person on the top part staring at me while I draw 😭
6:22 Kooleen, try lowering the opacity of the eraser brush to your liking, trust me, it'll not erase the whole thing unless you want it to

For the problem with the Ibis paint X eraser, you can actually change it! You can also modify brushes to your liking, you can change the eraser the same way that you would change any other brush. There are many types of erasers, too.

If you make a part two, you can include, infinite painter , Art flow and Medibang Paint.
Infinite painter has some procreate features even the colour dropper.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY OH MY GOOOD! Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU! For mentioning the reference tab exists I didn’t know that was a thing on iPad and procreate has it. For so long when using reference I just had to import pictures onto the canvas and delete them after I’m done which is an annoying process but this is gonna save me time! Eeep!

i absolutely love your drawing advice, etc, its helped me improve my art the way i wanted it to improve :)
I use sketchbook a lot and by far, the smeggsiest brush is the "Digital brush" under the designer tools, also the first eraser you see in the basic tools works as a really nice soft brush if you just lower the opacity.
Soon Kooleen will be so good at roasting she will roast her own roasting.
She really went from roasting to complementing the apps 😃✨
I think that sketch-book is a good app for beginner artist, who maybe don’t have any money. It gets them sorta into what an average drawing app is like, before they start getting better and more advanced apps

Sketchbook is by far my favorite! It motivates me a lot to draw more frequently and it's just so easy to use. The interface is also simple and clean. Love it!

6:22 -> you can change the eraser shape, actually! Just switch to eraser tool, then go to the section where you would normally change your brush shape, and change the eraser shape there. The shapes are also customizable iirc.

I have this app called drawing desk and it’s like a procreate dupe, well not exactly, it has the color drop thingy but idk if it has the circle thing like when you hold something down it becomes perfect, also it’s free.
About the soft eraser brush erasing everything, I do usually use that for sketching because you can always decrease the opacity. I mean that was like the only problem you had with it and it has a solution.
You can also select different kinds of erasers (soft, hard, textured, etc.) for those who don't know

In the game sketchbook, the collection of brushes like the big inventory with sections of brushes when u scroll all the way down they have a really good glow brush I use and it makes like a star shape and when you draw the glow follows the star

2:42 actually they do have liquify, if you go on the little round on the left you'll fine a wheel where it's written 1,2 and 3 and if you click on the 2 there will be many options including liquify 😗
About the eraser, i'm not sure if you knew, but you can change it to an " airbrush eraser " ?? just click the area where you would usually change the pen while having selected the eraser tool and you can change the eraser style i think
A tip with the soft or airbrush erasers in Ibis; Turn down the opacity of the erasers! That helps a TON, and I use it a lot
The app can do so, SO well once you get how to really use it efficiently
I'd love to see you try and roast an app I use, Krita, I myself think it has some flaws and things to correct - as well it can be quite confusing for people who just start with it but I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion!
I have an idea for ya, try watching the ads without your wifi on. It'll tell you that you dont have an internet connection but it will still unlock the brushes, love that feature.
Amazing extra use for ibisPaint: they have tons of stencils and a lot of models just ON THERE as well. And it’s all free. The amount of things you can do with ibisPaint that weren’t shown in this video is INSANE. Its the kind of stuff that you can’t even do on procreate.

A tip for the eraser, you can change it like how you change the pens, and you can adjust the size of the eraser
You can change the brush while in eraser to make it not as blurry in ibis paint

hi kooleen im a big fan and decided to download hi paint and yk how u said there was no liquefy well if u press on the little icon in the corner on the right side of the page at the top then press the other icon in the middle that appears in the settings thing and it should say liquify right above the bottom one (sharpen) i love ur videos btw
I usually use the airbrush option of the eraser to erase.
As a Autodesk Sketchbook user for 5 years, this is really my first digital art application since I was a broke artist back then and the features are great too. Also, I agreed with you that it crashes most of the time when drawing on Autodesk Sketchbook.

I’ve used sketchbook for 3 years! It’s pretty good in my opinion. Theirs some cool texture brushes. Only regret is I wish I had learned how to use blending modes earlier. And it can get a little laggy if you have a lot of layers.
Heres a tip for ibis paint if u want the soft brush eraser.First u have to press the eraser button and you will see the airbrushes you can choose how soft or strong u want it to be so yea yw

I usually use procreate, but I also have ibispaint for the sole purpose of manga formatter lol
Procreate is great for most things but not intended for drawing comics (and considering the sample artworks and the stuff on promotional stuff, not really intended for my kind of artstyle either which by the way is anime and comic inspired with soft shading but all those sample ones are generally this storybook illustration crayon-y style)
6:23 for the eraser, you can change the eraser brush to airbrush. Airbrush eraser is more like the soft eraser itself

There is liqufy in hipaint, when u press on the three dots on top corner and press on the the circle with one half shaded, scroll down and there are a lot of tools, and one of them says liquify
2:14 they actually do, here's how, you will see an small dot with the folor your using take that dot and drag it to where you wanna color, exactly like procreate.

Well hipaint does have that circle,straight line, and other shapes recognising system and it also has liquifying effects but they are at three dots on the right top corner.... So... If you have seen it earlier, you may give it better rate like maybe... 7 or 8/10

For Ibis paint you have watch an ad to get the brushed but I have trick for that save ur artwork and close the app and remove it from ur open apps thingy whatever and then turn off ur WI-FI or data and then open it again and click on ur artwork , click edit and and you have all the brushes for free and no ads

I checked HiPaint myself, and there IS a Liquify tool in it, Kooleen just didn't see it. You can go ahead and give it a shot 👍
