Route 66 - Exploring with Lyle

  • Took a trip. Saw some things. These are all along Interstate 40. They were all part of the decline of Route 66 when Interstate 40 came in and effectively bypassed this place. Worth looking into if you like that kind of thing.
    Anyways, here's a collection of buildings I found while driving old route 66 in New Mexico/Texas. I apologize for the wind on the last bit. It got gusty. I'll look into a windscreen for my gopro. Enjoy and thanks for watching.

    Nice work you do there, fellow. The view is very important, and a good slow pan keeps them interested. I had a friend I used to call Peter Pan. For real. We gave him 15 seconds, and it helps so much with mood.

    Definitely steel shank boots can make it much easier. Some real hiking boots aren't very heavy, at all.
